Mike takes Eleven into the bathroom to clean her up while Sage sprawls out onto the sofa, Dustin sits cautiously beside her.
"So.. what kind of powers do you have?"
Sage sits up and raises one eyebrow.
"What? I'm curious."
Sage smirks and makes the spaceship that he begged Eleven to use float around and land in his lap.
"Woah.."
"I can syphon Eleven and also I can communicate with people through my mind. I can kinda read minds but its more telepathy."
Dustin stands excitedly.
"Please try on me!"
"Hey Dustin."
Sage wipes her nose and laughs at his reaction.
"That's awesome.. can't you just do that with Will?" He wonders and Sage shakes her head.
"Trust me.. I tried. I just can't reach him, It must be since he's in another world."
Suddenly the walkie clicks and we hear Lucas yelling out of range, Sage grabs it while Eleven and Mike run out the bathroom.
"Mad hen.. does that mean anything to you? Like a codename?"
"Bad men.. bad men!" Sage yells.
Mike grabs his backpack and follows Sage upstairs to the kitchen.
They look out the window and see a repair truck.
"Mom!" Mike yells to his mother who was on the phone.
"Michael, I'm on the phone. I told you a million times-" Mrs Wheeler snaps.
"Did you schedule any repairs on the house?"
"What no-"
Dustin runs in.
"We have to go!" Dustin yells.
"If anyone asks, we left the country and Sage never stays here!"
They run out the door and hop on their bikes.
They see a group of men coming towards the house.
The man in the middle was recognised immediately by Sage and Eleven.
Papa.
He had eyes only for Eleven, Sage kept her head down and they cycle away.
They reach Lucas and plan to meet at Elm and Cherry, more and more vans were showing up as they cut through gardens just to reach Lucas.
The vans pull up and one whips around the corner, Sage reaches for El's hand and they flip both vans causing them to crash into each other, Dustin grabs hold of Sage's shoulder to steady her as she continues to cycle wobbly.
They reach the dump-sight and the boys carefully help each girl off the bikes.
"That was.. that was awesome." Lucas pants.
He kneels beside Eleven.
"I'm sorry about everything I said. I was wrong." He gently squeezes her shoulder and El smiles at him.
"I'm sorry too, friends don't lie."
Lucas then hugs Sage and turns to Mike.
"Me too." Mike reaches his hand out to him and he shakes it.
They sit around in a circle as Lucas explains exactly what he found, the gate was in the lab. Which is owned by government military.
"The place is a fortress, I don't know what we're meant to do."
"Well I can't go home, we're fugitives now."
"Well if it makes you feel any better, I never even had a home so." Sage laughs awkwardly and the boys stare at her concerned.
They hear a helicopter approaching and quickly shove their bikes under an abandoned bus and climb in.
They sit there shivering in fear for a long time.
Mike's walkie clicks and they hear a familiar voice.
"Mike? Mike are you there? It's me Nancy."
Nancy Wheeler repeats herself over and over while the kids crowd around the walkie.
