When Nightmare found Cross in his empty world, he felt pity for him. So he decided to offered him to join in his team. At first, Cross didn't trust Nightmare, but later he agreed since he has nowhere to go. Cross doesn't want to live in a void alone.

Cross cannot lose this opportunity, Nightmare gently took his hand and brought themselves to his castle. The former royal guard gaze at his surroundings how large the throne room is.

Soon he was startled when Nightmare all of the sudden screamed, calling his gangs' names. Three skeletons appeared in front of him, and the three of them bowed at his boss.

"Cross, these are my idiots." Nightmare presented their names as he pointed at them. "This is Killer, my loyal comrade. That's Dust and, on the right side of him, that's Horror. Those two are my disciplines. Boys, this is Cross. Treat him politely like how you treat me and each other."

The boss had teleported away, leaving the four in the throne room. Cross felt nervous when he was alone with them. Dust just rolled his eyes at him that Nightmare may wasted his time greeting a new membe alone with Killer who is irritating with Cross, so they teleported away.

But not for Horror, he decided to break the atmosphere of awkwardness and talked to him.

"You're Cross, huh? How wonderful to meet you. You know our names as our boss, Nightmare introduced to us." He take and shook Cross's hand. "You're going to love it here."

"Sure..." Cross awkwardly chuckled. "Can you show me around? This place is huge and I might be lost."

Horror chuckled at him, grabbing his hand. He did not notice Cross slightly blush when he was facing away to tour the castle. "Sure, and sorry about the two. It seems they completely judged your appearance and your shy personality."

Cross blushed even more harder as he could feel the embarrassment raise rapidly, he tried to defend himself. "I-I'm not that shy!"

"Whatever you say so, Cross." Horror giggled silently, before touring him from the bedroom until the final area. As they were done, Horror got a message from his boss in his phone that he got a new mission, instead of his two friends, he was teaming up with Cross.

It seems Nightmare really wanted them to get along each other while Cross was wondering what Horror was doing, so he decided to peek on the phone. Horror looked at him and spoke.

"Boss wants us both on a mission. Since this is your first time, you should stay with me. I don't want you to get lost or kidnap by our enemies." Horror put his phone inside his pocket. "We should go to the throne room, boss can access to another AUs."

They walked to the throne room, seeing Nightmare was waiting for them. He had already opened the portal them, all the two got to do was to get inside without any questions.

"So, what Nightmare want us to do in this AU?" Cross asked, watching Horror picked up his axe behind his back.

"Kill a person who are on the list." The other answered, grabbing Cross's hand and hide behind the bush. He pointed at the victim which they were busy on the phone. "You see that? That is our first victim. As you know, we're not the time of villain who just kill people for fun. We have reason to kill."
