We went to the police station and Lauren told them everything that Zack did. As expected this wasn't the first time that he was somehow physically abusing her. It hurt me to hear everything that she told. The police noted everything down and because of the recording that Leah did, they obviously believed Lauren everything. I'm still so thankful that Leah did that.
Zack isn't allowed to come near Lauren anymore. It's not decided if he will get a punishment in jail. I hope so but it probably won't be long. As long as he stays away from her, it's fine. Lauren stayed in my house for the next days just so she won't be alone. We had a bit of training as well. It felt good to have her back with me and feel like friends again. Until the next camp Lauren stayed at my house. I enjoyed the time with her but I hope that she will be able to stay at her house after camp. Of course I was looking forward to camp the entire time for the typical reason. Leah.

The Arnold Clark Cup camp is starting today. Me and Lauren arrive together. Most of the others are already there. Pictures get taken of us as we arrive. My eyes just search for Leah. It wasn't so long ago that I saw her but so much happened in the meantime and I just want to see her now. I walk around a bit and greet some of the girls. Then I spot Leah. She is already waiting for me. I immediately walk up to her. I recognise that she is holding flowers in her hand. I start to smile in the moment that I see that. I walk faster to reach her. I softly shake my head at her as I reach her.

"I missed you." I say. Before she can even say anything, I already kiss her lips. I need that kiss so bad. As I pull back I lay my hand at her cheek.

"I got you these to show you how proud I am of you." Leah says and holds out the flowers for me. I love her for doing this. She is so sweet. Just the look on her face as she hands me the flowers, is so cute.

"You are so sweet." I smile at her and take the flowers. They look beautiful. I look at them and then up at Leah again. I give her another kiss on the lips.

"I love you." She says at me. We get joined by Lauren. I step back from Leah a bit.

"Hi." Leah says at Lauren. Lauren just does a step up to Leah and hugs her. I love to see that. Leah looks surprised by the hug but gets along with it.

"Thank you." Lauren just says while not letting her go. I smile at this scene. I know Leah plays it down but in the end she is the reason why I was able to get Lauren out of there.

"Ah, you got your flowers." Beth comes next to me. Leah gives her an annoyed face already.

"I did." I smile.

"She took hours to decide on one." Beth laughs. I have to giggle at that. I imagine Leah searching for the perfect flowers.

"That is not true." Leah says.

"I don't care. I'm just happy that I got them." I hold on to Leah's arm.

"Of course you are. You are cheesy." Beth playfully rolls her eyes at me.

"Shut up." I look at Beth. She just laughs at me. Leah grabs my hand.

"As long as she is happy, I don't care what you say." Leah says at Beth.

We all go to our room. Of course I'm sharing a room with Leah. I search for a glass to put in the flowers. I don't want them to fade right away. While I put up the flowers, Leah comes behind me and wraps her arms around my hips. I immediately lean back against her. I love it when she does these hugs from behind.

"What should we do now?" She whispers at me. I just lean my head back against her chest and Leah lays her head on my shoulder.

"We should join the others again." I mumble even though I just want to stay here with her.
