'I can't believe we're in the exact same position we were in 10 days ago, just with a couple of extra people', I thought as the 11 of us sat around the table of our favourite restaurant, the one we went to after the dinner with my girls.

After our long days of relaxing at the spa or playing in the arcade, none of us wanted to cook and we were kind of sick of ordering in. As I watched everyone interact together like we were long-time friends or family, I found myself reminiscing back to that fateful night of our concert.

Would I have ever found out Astrid was my soulmate if Tae hadn't have done something he normally avoided by inviting her and Sophie to eat with us?

Or, would we have met in different circumstances?

Or would we have ever met at all if Jimin hadn't picked Sophie to be his winner in the competition?

"Penny for your thoughts, handsome?" I heard Astrid murmur quietly, her hand reaching across to cover mine on my thigh. I loved how she knew when I needed comfort or someone to listen to me – was this an Astrid thing? Or a soulmate bond thing?

Instead of answering her, I turned to look at the others, raising my glass of soju and clearing my throat to get everyone's attention. "Uh, I wanted to raise a toast. 10 days ago, our lives changed forever; my life changed forever in the best way possible. Jimin, if it wasn't for you selecting Sophie to be your winner, and Tae if you never invited Astrid and Sophie to join us for dinner after the concert, I don't know if I would have found my soulmate and daughter." I turned to look at the two who had recently become the most important people to me. "And thank you for accepting me, a sarcastic, grumpy, sometimes savage man. Thank you for letting me into your lives and hearts. So, here's to Jimin and Tae, the men I will always owe for the rest of my life."

11 glasses clinked with each other as we toasted.

"Hyung, does that mean you'll finally write me a song?" Jimin sassed. All I could do was laugh and nod. I would give the two of them the world if they asked.

"Ooo-oooh me too!" Tae chimed in. "If it's a Grammy award winning song, I promise to thank you first."

"You know Attie, since you, Yoongi-hyung has been really soft and mushy. Our next album might be full of love songs and soppy ballads." Everyone laughed at Jimin's ribbing of me, Jin's laugh the loudest; he was happy to see me finally on the roasting block after all the years he was teased for being the doting and sappy soulmate to Nari.

"Aish, you brats. You better sleep with one eye open – or two in Tae's case. I'm still the savage king." I chuckled.

Astrid and I were preparing for sleep when her phone chimed. Thinking it was one of her friends checking in, she quickly opened her messages when I noticed all the colour run from her face.
