Greetings again,
This chapter might be more of a rant chapter but oh well, from a writer's POV, let's say it helps.
There are different reasons about what causes a writer's block,
One, a writer has been consistently churning out words— that ultimately form a story because they have developed a way with the words and how to play with them— I think it often causes stress about how to formulate the next chapter event wise and how to put it into words,
And because of the consistency they've been going on with, it might actually lead to a burn out rather than a block,
Well, let's talk about my case.
Today is 08/04/23, when I am writing this chapter, and I feel like the block I had been facing was removed by the fact that I simply let myself be me or let myself show somehow in my works.
I had made some decisions for one of my fan fictions and I have recently been contemplating my that decision over and over again although I stand near to the end of the book.
There's a core memory event in the said book which I decided to shelve so that I can show it later in a memory recall but then the writer in me literally refused to write until I decided that, "okay, chuck it, let's do this, let's put this in the work right here,"
Only then the block I had been facing was removed, gosh do I feel nice.
So anyone facing a block because of such reason, I'd say let yourself be you, but also proof read that piece of work yourself twice or thrice so that it holds that piece of you in it and is also a clean, meticulous piece of story.
Thank you.
