Andrew's POV
I'm glad to be hanging out with Evan for my birthday but it seems like his mind is somewhere else. He seems really distracted and I feel like he doesn't want to be here with me and just feels pressured since it's my birthday. I've been talking to him but he doesn't seem very attentive and his attention is definitely elsewhere. "Hey man, if you don't want to be here, you don't gotta. I won't be offended. We can hang out some other time. It's cool." I contended. "What? no, I want to be here. I want to hangout with you." Evan refuted. "Listen Ev, it's just, you don't look happy to be here and I can tell your mind is somewhere else. If you got something to do you can go do it I'm not gonna disappear you know?" I articulated once more. "No. No I-I want to be here with you, I'm just distracted. I'm sorry I'll pay attention now." He reaffirmed. "No, it- It's cool man, you're good I just want us both to have a nice time y'know? Is there anything you want to do?" I inquired. "Maybe we could go to an arcade?" Evan asked shyly. "Yeah, yeah I'd like that." I smiled at him and he returned the smile before looking away and for a second I almost thought I saw him blush.
