Should I write a poem? Since I am taking the style of written poetry books, would it be right to leave a messy poem behind?
I like to think my words and they way they are written are poetic enough, but maybe they could use some fine-tuning.
Okay. I'll leave a silly and short poem behind, I think it would be nice and it's only fair.
I love you,
I love you light the sun loves the ground
Like the grass loves the rich dirt below it
I love you like a weed
Always growing back
Even if you pull me out
And throw me away
I love you like a soft song
My words the lyrics
And my tone the melody
A soft beat patted out by my tapping hands
I love you,
I love the thought of you
And I love the thought of love
You are my idea and my inspiration for love
But could you be better
I don't think so,
I think you are perfect like chicken and rice
I love you,
I hope that you love me like I love you,
I will craft a million different reasons why
Each "I love you" a promise more
Because I do love you,
And I hope you know it's true
I love you too,
