After putting all the groceries away where they belonged, Nicole spoke. "So Kaia," she said looking up from her laptop. "That boy, he isn't really your friend now is he?"
Kaia rolled her eyes and turned towards her mother. "Yes ma, that's my friend. We met like 3 days ago." Nicole looked at her daughter confused. "And where did y'all meet?"
"Remember when I went to the store on Friday?" Nicole nodded her head. "That's where I met him." "So y'all just met, and he already carrying bags for you? You may see him as a friend but I don't think he sees you the same way."
"Ma are you sure Alyssa not my sister? Y'all act the same way." Kaia said shaking her head. "No, Alyssa just got common sense." Nicole rolled her eyes. "Don't tell me you don't see the way he looks at you and responds to you.
And I be seeing the way you look at him too. Kaia, you know you can tell me these things right?" She looked at her daughter. Kaia sighed.
"Ok ma. I'm not sure if I like him or not but his actions definitely get to me. When I went to the store on Friday, he payed for all of my things. When I went to the store today, he payed for my things again.
He even tried to pay for the groceries." Kimora stood up from the table shocked. "Girl don't tell me you let that boy pay for our groceries now." Kaia shook her head no. She sat back down. "I see why you a bit confused. I think he has pure intentions, but you should still always be careful. You never know."
Kaia nodded her head in agreement. "See ma, you understand. I don't want to rush into things because I don't know him like that. But I am willing to get to know him. He seems like a really nice person."
