Almost 20 minutes had passed and Kaia never responded to his message. He was a bit confused since Kaia never took longer than 2 minutes to reply but he shrugged it off, since he was going to link another girl anyway.
He texted the other girl, asking her if she was ready for their outing tonight.

He wanted to link Kaia before meeting up with said girl since it's been so long since they've seen each other. But he wasn't going to blow up her phone, because it just wasn't his place to do so. Getting ready and grabbing everything he needed, he left his house and made his way to his car to pick the girl up.
After his breakup with Kaia, he was sure that love just wasn't for him. Although he agreed that it was best for them to break up, since Atlanta and New York City were pretty far away from each other, the only girl he really ever loved was Kaia.
But he was over that now, and all he cared about was money and being successful. He decided that he would never fall in love again, so that he would never have to split up with someone that he deeply cared about once more.
