" Are we sure this is a good idea?"

Trítön asked Koäna, the two of them were walking on the sand towards Tonowari, Iworan, and Sepal.

The two hunters had found out about Roa with Koänä way back when. Ever since the mated couple had taken the girl in as if she was a younger sibling since there was at least a seven to ten age difference. They trained her, always checked in on her well being, and Sepal never failed to help the girl with boy advice when Koänä struggled with Trítön.

" Trítön," Koänä laughed as she looked over and up at the boy. " There is no we in this decision. This is something I have been wanting to do, consider yourself lucky you were even invited."

He mockingly laughed at her, knowing the last part was only half a joke. A small smile brought itself onto her face once she heard the huff of annoyance leave him.

" I...What if it is too dangerous?" Trítön asked, stopping himself from walking any farther. He turned and looked at Koänä with a 'what if' look.

Koänä chuckled, stopping her own walk to look at him." Why are you acting like I am with a child?"

" You could be!"

Koänä's eyes widened as she laughed. Trítön on the other hand, did not look amused as he tried to convince the girl to do this another day since HE did not think it was safe for her at the time.

" Great Mother, you two already act like a mated couple but Trítön has not even got that far yet." Iworan jokes while him, his mate, and Tonowari walk up to the couple. Trítön rolled his eyes, fed up with the constant harassment he received. Tonowari looked almost disturbed by the thought of his son doing that but most of his face was playful disappointment that his son couldn't make the proper move.

" You act like it did not take you a year of sneaking around to ask me." Sepal teased her mate. Koänä laughed and hugged the older huntress tightly. They both listened to Iworan's horrible stuttering as he tried to make up an excuse. " But yes, he has a point. Trítön, make a move. It really is not that difficult."

That made all of them laugh at the Chief's son, who looked baffled with the amount of shots being fired at him. Tonowari clapped his son on the shoulder with a look of joy on his face.

" You ready, Koä?" Tonowari asked the girl he had hoped would soon become his daughter-in-law. Once he saw the eager nod from her, the father nodded and walked toward the water. " Is Jake Sully joining us?"

" He said he would be here.." Koänä offered her answer, slightly trailing off as she looked around the shore for any sight of her father. A frown of disappointment made its way on her face when she did not see him anywhere.
