Monday again.

Ugh.

I tiredly walked through the school gates with my friend (friend's name) walking right next to me boring the same tired and sleepy expression that I wore on my face.

"I'm so ready for senior year to be over in three months. I can't keep doing this everyday," she groaned as she ran her hands down her face. "Want to get Starbucks after school?"

"Yes. You don't have to ask me twice," I responded with a laugh as we walked towards our first class of the day, but while walking there, I saw a crowd of students surrounding someone.

"What's going on with them? It's too early to be this excited."

"I heard we have an exchange student today. They'll be here for a week or two," answered my friend.

I glanced over my shoulder and saw a patch of dark black hair, but I was only able to see the back of this person's head and as they were about to turn around, someone popped up in front of me.

"(Y/n)!"

Yeonjun, a friend of mine since freshman year, slung his arm around my shoulder and said, "Did you miss me this weekend?"

"Who wouldn't," I casually joked and a small smirk formed on his lips before he asked me, "Do you have any plans this weekend?"

"Not that I know of."

"Great! That way we can hang out."

"Well I have to get permission first, but I'm sure my parents will say yes," I answered.

His smirk turned into a smile and he lightly bumped his head with mine before letting me go and stepped away, "I'll see you two later."

We gave him a wave goodbye and I could feel my friend's eyes on me as soon as he disappeared from our sight.

"Yes?" I asked her all while peering at her from the corner of my eye.

"He has his eyes on you and no one else. Why haven't you given him a chance?"

"I admit that he's handsome and makes my heart feel some type of my way, but he's popular with the girls and I feel uneasy about that."

"Trust me, he doesn't even spare them a word or glance," she admits as we walk inside our class and walk to the center of the classroom. We turn and walk down the aisle and sat ourselves at our desk which was the second to last row.

"What if he asks you out again? Would you say yes?" She questioned me as she slipped into her seat right next to me.

A deep sigh escaped my lips as I leaned back into my chair and thought, 'Should I give him a chance?'

"Maybe. I need to think about it."

She had a point though. I could see the way he gave me his undivided attention whenever we were together and has proven his feelings for me through his words and actions, but I keep hesitating to accept.

I must be out of my mind because any other girl would say yes right away.

"Hey, no pressure. If you think you feel something for him and want to give him a chance, then go for it. If you want to stay as friends, then stay that way."

"Thank you," I smiled and appreciated the support she was giving me.

"This is your class," I heard a student say and when I gazed over to the left, I saw a strikingly handsome tall boy with straight yet slightly fluffy black hair whose dark brown eyes wandered around the classroom.
