Blake above :)

Shelby and I headed to Spanish. I was still bitter over Blake stealing my sandwich, but I have bigger things on my mind.

We entered the classroom, and Blake and Leo were already there. Blake's lips formed into a smug smile.

"Ladies." He greeted us.

I rolled my eyes and sat down behind him and next to Leo.

"Oh common, Liz. It was just a sandwich." Blake laughed.

"Yea Yea..." I chuckled.

"I am so confused." Leo looked between us.

Blake shrugged. "Had to be there, man." He turned back around in his seat and Leo furrowed his brows.

I looked at Shelby and made wide eyes, mouthing 'OK then...'

She laughed and Blake turned back around. Shelby instantly shut her mouth. Blake squinted his eyes and did the whole 'I'm watching you' thing.

Shelby and I chuckled, as Leo remained silent. I looked over to see him sketching in his notebook.

"Whatcha drawing?" I asked, peeking over his arm. On the page was a well-detailed sketch of Barcelona. "Wow... that's amazing!"

"It's whatever." He shut his notebook and gave me a small smile. "There are finer beauties in this world."

My face grew hot, and I looked away.

"If you're talking about me, I know that already," Blake said without turning around. I laughed a bit while Leo sighed, annoyed with Blake.

"So did you find Jeremy?" I asked Leo quietly.

"No. I think he went off campus for lunch to clear his head." Leo answered.

Blake turned around. "Yea, cause his head is in the sky."

"Dude," Leo said flatly.

Blake shrugged. "I thought it was funny... considering... well you know." Blake faced the front again while the teacher started the lesson.

I tilted my head in confusion and Leo sighed. "Just ignore his stupid comments," Leo grumbled. "They are unnecessary."

Blake turned around again. "I'll have you know my comments are extremely relevant and they make whatever the hell it is that you're talking about ten times more interesting."

"Blake. Is there a problem over there?" The teacher asked.

Blake sighed and put on a fake smile and faced the front, having a conversation with the teacher in perfect Spanish.

Shelby and I were warming up with the girl's team when we saw Jeremy arrive late to the boy's practice.

I looked to Shelby and she just shrugged.

I watched Jeremy talk to his coach, using quite a few hand motions.

"I wonder what his excuse is." I pondered out loud.

"Probably something along the lines of 'sorry I'm late but my teacher kept me behind' or 'I left my cleats at home and had to go get them.'" Shelby answered, sitting on the grass to stretch her legs out.

I looked back over to Jeremy and the coach looked to be ok with whatever he told him and ushered him to join the boy's practice. Leo walked up to his brother, but Jeremy just brushed him off.

I made eye contact with Blake from across the field. Blake just shrugged and started juggling a ball.
