WHAT ARE WE?

//Anarisa's POV//

Asa bahay pa'din kami ng parents ni Leon. Pagkatapos naming kumain ay nag-offer ako na ako nalang ang maghuhugas since siya na ang nagluto at nakakahiya naman if mag sit pretty lang me here. Buti naman at pumayag siya.

We decided to stay at their backyard kung saan merong bench, at doon kami umupo, we sat next to each other while my head is resting on her shoulders.

The wind is cold kaya pinasuot muna sa akin ni Leon ang blazer na suot suot niya kanina when she fetched me.

Hinahawakan ko ang lapel nung blazer niya kasi kahit suot ko na ito ay nilalamig pa'din ako. I am not good with cold talaga, mabilis akong ginawin. Hindi naman masakit ang ulo ko kaya for sure hindi naman ako nilalagnat or sinisinat.

Napansin ni Leon na nakahawak ako sa lapel at nilalamig pa'din.

"Nilalamig ka pa'rin ba, Ris?" she asked to get my attention, she also tilted her head a bit to look at me, I nodded at her, "Medyo. Mabilis kasi talaga ako ginawin eh." I answered and chuckled a little.

"Pasok na kaya tayo? Doon nalang tayo sa couch." Leon said, "No, mas gusto ko rito, fresh 'yung air. And I also want to look at the night sky with you."

I can feel that she smiled at what I said. Then, she kissed the top of my head.

Looooorrrrdddddd.

Hindi ko alam kung ano ang pumasok sa isip ko, pero I took Leon's hand and started to play with her palm. I drew circles and lines at kahit na ano pang pumapasok sa utak ko. I looked at Leon and saw her staring at me while smiling. I melted at what I saw at inalis na ang tingin sa kaniya.

Ibinalik ko ang pansin ko sa palad niya and continued to do what I was doing. Playing with it.

"Nabusog ka ba?" she asked I looked at her and nodded. She smiled, "I hope you enjoyed the food I cooked." she added.

Of course I enjoyed the food she cooked. Luto niya 'yun eh.

"Yes. Ang sarap nga eh, sa uulitin hehe." I answered. Gosh, it's so weird but I don't want this day to end.

"Will do, kapag free na tayo ulit. Isama natin si Inna minsan."

"Agree! Ang saya kasama nung batang 'yon."

"Oo nga eh. Mas mukha pa kayong mag-tita kaysa sa'ming dalawa. Pero hindi ako nagrereklamo ha, I enjoy watching the two of you bond." she explained and unexpectedly entertwined our hands together. Kanina nagdra-drawing lang ako ng bilog dun ah. 

Looorrddddddd, I am not your strongest soldier.

"I'm happy we got to do this." I said, "Do what?" she asked, "This. Us, eating together, and now here we are, sa labas ng bahay niyo holding each other's hands." I explained.

We did not expect it to rain though drizzle lang naman iyon. Leon and I decided to move nalang sa couch para hindi rin kami mabasa.

Leon opened the television and nanonood kami sa Netflix while I am still leaning on her shoulders. She also brought chips and water para raw may mangatngat kami while watching.

May cheetos sa gitna namin ni Leon para mabilis nalang kaming kumuha.

I was too focused on watching that I didn't even noticed that Leon dozed off, not until nung kukuha na dapat ulit ako ng chips na asa may table sa tabi niya. I stared at her while she's sleepy.

Gosh, how can someone look so pretty while sleeping? She's so at peace habang natutulog siya. Comfortable kaya siya sa pwesto niya? Her head is resting on the headrest of the couch, I'm pretty sure masakit sa leeg 'yun.
