You greet the morning with a faint smile of apathy at anything
Walk quickly between sharp round stones and roses without thorns
The ceramic staircase that runs across the front feels very antique to you
You always try to run away from it and the sun scolds you loudly
Until you realize that there is no other way than what you hated for those three years
All the girls never know about the existence of your breath in this world
And never once did you care about what was on their minds
Your heart is frozen like an orchid trapped in a glass tube
But what you're always thinking about is some of the future bullshit that the wise men used to spout
I've never known you for more than three years
We exchange apology letters once a year in the summer
In this season you seem to have forgotten the biggest moment in twelve months
Then forget about what has been our tradition for six semesters
I saw you so ambitious in the contest running into a bad day
But the universe never allows you that to happen in your life
It dropped all your efforts and all the way home you were flooded with tears
Until in the end you look for me after two seasons changing
You want to be on the same step as me after feeling betrayed by the universe
But I see doubt clearly painted in your eyelids
I let you go again and never asked how you could spend your remaining free time
Because I know, your dreams are really wild when you tell it to your club mates
And yes, I am still standing here the same as three years ago
But I will never again look as frail and weak as a mahogany branch
