A Plot of Land and a House
Mr. Hong rented a plot of land opposite
With two pairs of chicks and ducks
He cared the half of the land with a thousand trees
And I love those flowers every season
His daughter smiled at me as it was late eveningWhile listening to songs from the old radi
oI strum the strings of the violin one stave line
And she danced happily in her little patchMr. Hong bought a house opposite
From a drunken old man 7 years ago
His silver bells echo every wind greeting
And his six gray puppies running around on the porch
We exchange cake every winter at the end of the year
Then we laugh because the problem one year ago is over
I walked back home under the village lights
And singing under the drizzling rainMr. Hong bought a plot of land, opposite
And the house has been treated well
He is the only person who stands up for her daughter
Even though his mind is scratched every time he sees the family photo frame
That plot of land and a house still standing happily
Even if lightning sometimes strikes it
Fallen leaves scattered along the side of the land
And Mr. Hong picked it up again while recalling the good memories
