Hide and Seek

I would never remember your birthday, but I lied
Your girl gave you dozens of gifts and cards, but I didn't
I'm sending millions of prayers, that you don't even know
But the sky always hears it
This is what my life losing in a game of love hide and seek

I won't memorize the path of your heart, but I'm pretending
You're still the same as the last time we met, but I'm not
You danced with dozens of girls, whom you just met 6 hours ago
And I stand with the starry castle
This is how my mind winning in a game of life hide and seek

I'll never love you, but I always lied
The ashes of love still leave an imprint on me, but not you
I ran in a barren desert, which people think will be boring
And I do anyway
This is how my heart losing in a game of feeling hide and seek
