Since Zim finds it funny to shrink me for his own enjoyment, I will have my revenge. And where else can I do it best than school?
No one cares for weirdos or the outsiders so the perfect victim in my palm muhahahaha.
And no, I am not a bully.
Okay in this case I am.
But Zim deserves it. Dib won't be part of that plan, despite of his annoyance to recap the entire mystery show from last night. Holding my ears from stopping his rubbish reaching my ears, Zim stood up immediately. Everyone looked at the boy standing on his table while his finger points towards me, "Ah, she is not listening!!!!"
"Wha?"
Mrs Bitters stood up slowly, after agony of hours rambling on that there's nothing out there for us. I seen her lessons as another game of I spy my little eye while making a list of what she will refer to. Or when I get really bored, make lines for every "doomed" she said.
Not hearing her appear she bend over to me, "You child".
Her shadow caught me of guard, "class already over?"
Ring!!!!
"Not for you it isn't...class dismissed!"
"Wait what?"
Zim grinned with victory as I growled like an animal. Dib backed off from my sight, clearing getting the picture of my foul mood. The first break I had to write to not to ignore my teachers on the board. Seriously, when did I ever listen in the past? Only difference I have is to write it down.
"Having fun mini human?"
"Sure, let me demonstrate..."with an elastic band around my fingers I shoot the charcoal against his face. His scream was music to my ears, "...green pipsqueak".
"Hey Y/N...Ahhhh...what was that for???"
Ops, I thought Zim had stood up. Dib rubbed his forehead and got closer to the window, "I told you aliens will cause trouble to Humankind."
"When did you say that?"
His grin dropped, "I just told you in class!"
Double ops!
"Sorry Dibby, Zim is making me mad."
And that is when the plan took action. Dib gladly took my instructions to make it work. Involving a few outsiders and Zim will be toast.
Unfortunately, not until I had to explain my small look now. Beats me how that alien got me like this in the first place.
Zim was confident enough that I was beaten by my own human game. But I was far from that. As a matter of fact, it only just begun. Once I had my freedom to get out of the classroom.
At the cafeteria, I asked Dib to talk to the outsiders while I did so with the other kids. All except the green boy. He took an awful long time on the toilet, which was a big advantage for me. His appearance stopped everyone from eating. Zim noticed how everyone staredls at him, not making a single sound. I sat in the back of the room knowing he would come over. Slowly, his feet took one step at the time, while all eyes followed him on the way. The green boy was getting nervous.
In the meantime, I had to keep myself from smiling.
Instead of a cheeky remark, he sat beside me. Slowly he got closer, pressed against my side.
"Something wrong Zim?"
He looked at him, checking his hair and body, "Why are they all staring at me?"
"I thought you like attention"
His eyes went dark, "Is this your doing?"
"Nah" not easy to grin at any moment.
It got worse as a group of kids walked toward us. Zim felt Something was happening, grabbing on to my arm. If I wouldn't be so angry about his actions I would find that cute.
Unaware that two other boys sneaked up from behind, I pushed Zim off. The minute he was put off guard, water fell on to him. An entire bucket to be exact...
Plob!
...including the bucket.
The green boy screamed in agony, running around with the bucket over his head, running into the walls to find the exit. Everyone laughed at that, while Dib sat beside me slurping his smoothy.
"Lame"
My eye twitched, "lame? He got what he deserved and the school loves it, so how is this lame?"
"I got a better idea. We could capture him, hold him hostage, tickle him with a feather until he tells us where he comes from".
I sighted, "...You need a new hobby..."
Zim finally found the exit until...
"Ahhhhhhh!" Klong, klong, klong....
"Wonderful, he found the stairs. Excuse me Dib, I got a plan to fulfill." Whistling a happy tune I grabbed another bucket.
Dib seem to be annoyed at that, "I think you need a new hobby"
"Stop whining, it's really annoying"
Gaz startled her brother as she came out of nowhere, picking on the cafeteria food. Dib kept mumbling at my attention towards Zim following Gaz example on mimicking her with the food. Her face turned to a disgusted expression, "If it bothers you so much, why don't you join her?"
Revenge on Zim? Sure he would love that, but he rather wants me as far away as possible from that alien. At this point he heard another agonizing scream from that kid, "Beans....I hate beans!!!!!!!"
"You know what Gaz, you're right."
Zim received more than I promised. From a few pranks the whole school made it a challenge to give Zim the worst day of his life. Expecting to hate it all, there was one thing that he hats the most... being mimicked.
First day on school and I started to love it. On my way home Dib lets a dog loose which chased Zim down the road. I liked giving him a thumbs up, "Nice one".
"Thank you, we could so much more tomorrow" he rambled on what things we could do to Zim but...somehow...
"Dib I appreciate the creative ideas you got and to be honest they are pretty messed up. But I think one day was enough, I don't want to bully him further".
"The others love it, do you really think they stop now?"
I could have slapped myself. How stupid can I be? Dib is right, this will not stop. Af hhis point I only wanted to be home and under my bed sheets. Dib watched me run towards Zim's house.
Gir was on the couch as slusual watching the monkey growl. Ignoring his cheering I threw my backpack into the corner and crawled into my bed. The warm embrace of the bedsheet felt heavenly, like I had not a care in the world. Until something tugged on the endside of the bed. Expecting Gir to get on my nerves it was Zim. He stood there all lost looking at me with those big puppy eyes, "I want to sleep here".
"Why?"
He didn't answer, as his mouth tried to find the right words...he couldn't. Without waiting for a reply, his tiny body crawled underneath the sheet and hugs me around the waist. With his face buried into my stomach I couldn't hear his answer, mumbling into my shirt.
After what happened today I couldn't help myself and let him have his way. Hopefully I won't regret that decision.
