The Philosopher's Tree (a new beginning)

Chapter II "Discovery"

Later, about,3:45,the younger ones were still enjoying outside,no enemy had came,so no hiding. Peter played in the sandbox. Jane was playing with her wooden dolls. And James was climbing trees. James decided to climb about an average sized tree,so he did. He climbed for what seemed like an hour,but to Jane and Peter,it seemed like he was already at the top. It felt as if the tree was getting bigger,Every time he though he made it up.
He rested on a branch,which had a diamond on it. It was shining graciously,a great deal of light. "Jane,you've gotta see this! This tree is bigger then the world it seems!" Jane look up,the tree seemed average,not as big as James Thought of it. Without turning around,she told Peter to stay were he was. Then she climbed it. It took forever to get all the way up. She rested aswell behind James,on the same exact branch. They sat up there for quite some time,gazing at the gorgeous Diamond. "It looks-" "sHhHhH!!!" Jane put her hand over James mouth and they watched the diamond longer, and longer,and longer. Till Amy and Kaii came outside to call them. "Dinner time!" Called out Amy. "Come eat! It's roasted beef!" Said Kaii. James covered Jane's mouth so she wouldn't say anything. "Up here! There is a beautiful jewel! If we take it,we may become rich!" Amy and Kaii looked at each other. Then,Amy sprang up the tree,scurrying her hands quickly. "Kaii,this is super high up! Trust me! See for yourself!" Amy kept climbing after she said that,then she got on a branch behind James' and Jane's branch. "Come Kaii,there is a precious item. And it isn't a jewel, it's a diamond ." By time she got to the words "precious item" he was already climbing. His hands gripped firmly on  the  tree. When he got up there,he put one foot on the lower part of the trunk,his other on another part. His hands were also on two different things. One hand was on a piece of bark,sticking out,another was on the branch James and Jane were on. "Whoa..this is beautiful..." murmured Kaii. "Wonder why we couldn't see this treasure on ground." He looked at Amy who was panting,trying to get some air,for the tree seems humongous! James reached his hand out to grab the diamond. "Stop it!" Said Jane grasping James arm. "We could be rich , Jane,I say rich. You wanna live in a stupid two story cottage,rather than live in the city? How pitiful! If I take this jewel,and go back down. We could be mighty rich. If you won't let me,fine,I'll keep it for my personal savings and i'll be the one rich." Jane let go,looking off. Then,James reach over as fast as possible and touched the diamond. A clutter of "Stop!" From the other three let go. They all dived in to the diamond to stop James,but to all of their surprise,they didn't end up on the ground,but somewhere else.
