Chapter V "Temple"

They meet the queen. Who escorts them out. They end up running for thirty-five minutes,till they find Lucy again. She was remained eighty-three miles away from what looked like a pyramid. She wasn't walking. She was sitting on the sand,pretending she was on Earth,at a beach,relaxing. "Hey look! It's Lucy!"  Peter rubbed his eyes and looked beyond. "Who Lucky?" Said Peter. Amy stopped walking and told Peter some interesting facts about Lucy. "She's kind,amazing,she let us know tons of things. Earth isn't really a planet." "Whwat?! U joke Susan?" "My name isn't Susan! It's Amelia or Amy!" James started taunting Amy. "Susan,Susan,Susan,Susan,Susan,Suuuusssaaaan" "Shut up James!" Said Jane slapping him. Kaii started to laugh. "Oh you shut up too,Kaii!" "I could care less." "Really?" Smiled Amy sarcastically. "Yes really." Responded Kaii. "Ok,Káiser Wilhelm The second!" "I'm not Kaiser Wilhem!" "Oh,sure" they continued to tease each other till they got to Lucy. "Hello,Lucy!" Said Amy walking up to shake hands with Lucy. Lucy held out her hands and shook them. "Hello,Travelers!" Lucy then got up out the sand. "No need to call us travelers,Lucy,our last names are Smith." "Well,let me say hello more politely." Lucy cleared her throat. "Hello,Smiths!" They all gazed at the Temple,which was so far away from them.. "You bunch need to head home,I'll keep your weapons safe,let's talk and walk as we head to this temple." They all started to walk towards the temple which seemed so far away. "Why did you ditch us,Lucy?" Said James frustrated. "Oh well," replied Lucy. "My father would kill me if I had been with humans. Any kind,even the ones he'd like. He told me to turn any human in if I laid eyes on one." "Well did you? Will you? Have you?" Asked Peter. "No,she wouldn't,I hope not." Replied Jane. "I wouldn't,I promise. I promise to keep all five of you safe. All five. Not 2–– or 3— or 1. All five . You bunch are my only good friends,my other ones are all Jerks,or foolish,or only like me because I'm the princess,and they wanna be King. Sometimes,the ones that wanna be King just want power. It's easy for you guys . Y'know?" The children look at each other to decide who would talk. "Well,it isn't easy." Said Kaii. "Amelia,tell her about the pla-the land 'Earth'." Amy shook her head then cleared her throat. "We don't have it easy,there is a grand war going on. It's World War II. Germans are invading London. Not as much as they did at first. America has started to help us,to help England. We have naval British forces now. But we still live in danger. We aren't rich ourselves,we live in Primrose Hill,London. In a small cottage. Jane calls it 'Cottage of Love' . And it isn't just the UK fighting in this 'World War II',There is France. Just the UK and France are good. I wish I could live here,free,healthy,alive." She stopped,and inhaled the fresh air,that didn't smell like carbon dioxide everywhere. She looked to the right and saw the Temple over there. She smiled . "Didnt have to go into so much detail,Susan." Peter patted her head when he said that. "Oh would you-!" Amy calmed down. "Look ahead,the temple isn't so far! Why don't we go on?" Said Jane. James laughed,patted Jane's back,and spoke. "Last one there is a rotten egg!" He ran as fast as he could,with Jane right beside him running. Amelia noticed that he said that,and started off running. Lucy just floated as fast as she could. Kaii caught on quickly,and ran like light past James and Jane! They ran for some time,and some time more,and more,and more, until, they came in sight of the temple. Kaii got there first,with second and third came in Jane and James,fourth with Lucy, and fifth was Amy. Kaii reached in his trouser pocket to get his hat,then he put it on. "Onward,will you ever come back?" Cried Lucy as she opened the temple door. Peter nodded his head and got down off Amy's back. "I wills." The others nodded as well. "Are you downright sure?" Said Lucy when she lead them into the temple. "We are sure,Lucy." Said Kaii. With a hug,and a cry, Lucy knew it's time for them to go. She lead them over to a shining Diamond,but it wasn't blue,perhaps,pink. "Touch it,and home you will arrive,at the same hour,at dinner time." Murmured Lucy. Kaii took one more look back before he touched it. And he saw Lucy,looking down at them,more beautiful then ever. Then they touched it,and back they were,on the tree,in the same spot they were the moment they left,along with Peter,who was still in the sandbox. They seemed to have no bruises at all.
