Chapter 4: Train Takeover

"Train in sight. Roughly five minutes out." You say as you adjust your mask.

"Good work. Move back to ambush position." You sigh and drop from the branch you're standing on, breaking your fall with a flap of you wings once you reach the ground.

"Ready to go?" You ask Blake. She gives a simple nod in response, the pack you gave her securely on her back.

"Well...alright." You respond. The two of you wait silently until the rumbling of the train can be felt. Soon it starts to come into view, it's lead car making a loud whistle.

"On my mark people." Adam says into your ear. "Three. Two. One." You and Blake pounce onto the passing car, break through the windows, and then pull yourselves up inside. Two guards turn and two guards fall to non lethal take downs.

"Belladonna and (L/N) on the train."

"Blake you two move towards the back and take down any guards." Adam responds. Two Atlas androids kick open the door.

"Intruder. Show ID immediately." You land two quick shots on the androids, dropping them both easily.

"Time to move." The two of you make your way through the train cars, dropping any Android that gets in your way.

"Halt!" Guns are pointed in your face as soon as your open the next train car door. You sweep at the leg of the guard in front of you and gunfire erupts. As the guard is falling you bash him with the butt of you gun and knock him out. You shift to your sword, letting out a strong swing and knocking down two other guards standing in front of you.

"This car should have it." You walk forward to some of the large storage containers and pop them open.

"That's a lot of dust." Blake says as she joins your side.

"Pfff this should hold us over for a while." You comment. "I don't know how we will need more than this car alone, but hey I'm not in charge." Before Blake is able to respond, a loud crashing comes from above.

"Sounds like we have company." You poke your head out the window and see the side of a massive Atlisian spider droid.

"(Y/N). Blake. Handle it." Adam commands. The two of you jump onto the top of the car and come face to face with the opposition. Gunfire ensues as the two of you lay down a fury of bullets.

"We aren't doing much." Blake comments as it begins to swing its gun at you. Both of you draw your swords as the spider droid prepares to fight back. You dash forward hacking at its leg and you pass by. The droid fires a light volley at you, but you use your wings to absorb the blow. Both you and Blake leap upwards, bringing your swords down on the turret. The droid jumps into the air and then lands down hard, shaking off Blake.

"I got ya." You say as you jump down off the train and grab her before she hits the ground. You redirect the two of you and fly back up onto the car where the action is happening. Blake fires her pistol at the target as you move forward, sword in the strike ready position. Once close enough you let out a massive swing, cracking some of the outer armor. Before you're able to make your next move, the spider droid sends out a massive energy shot that sends both you and Blake flying backwards.

"This isn't going well." You groan as you stand up.

"Any ideas?" She asks. You blade starts to glow ice blue as you look at her.

"Freeze the turret then crack it wide open."

"Better than no plan."

"Here give me that." You grab her pistol from her and hand her the ribbon end. "I'm going to swing you down and you'll drive my sword into the droid even more and finish it off.
