Rafe

I don't think I'd ever been so excited to go shopping in my entire lifetime. We walk into a store filled with bras, underwear and other undergarments. I pick up a white set; a Pearl stringed lacy thong and a matching bra. Lee notices, she spectates it. She hates it. "Seriously?"

She laughs. "How'd you know?" Stupid question, her facial expressions say a million words without trying.

"You gave that face you give when I wear my cargo shorts." I put the set back.

"That's why you haven't worn them in a while, you should really burn those." I give her a light nudge making her jolt forward. "Sorry I don't want my boyfriend to look like a golf dad."

"What's a golf dad-"

"Hey guys, is there anything I can help you with today?" A worker announces. Lee nods.

"I want something simple but still cute... if that makes sense?"

The lady smiles. "Follow me." She takes us into another section and I try not to gauge at the underwear to long before my girlfriend shoves them down my throat. The lady holds up a baby blue set and I can already tell Lee hates it. She acts to like it but in the end says it's "too simple" so they look for another. We agree on two sets and the worker leaves us to the changing rooms.

I sit on the couch outside where the dressing room splits into a seating area so when she opens the curtains in one of the sets it's just me and her. "I think I like this one." She sways in front of the mirror making sure to check all the angles while I stare in awe at her small figure. Her hip dips, her stomach she insists on constantly being bloated, her beautifully thick thighs she runs her hands across before pulling the small pieces of fabric up to compliment her figure perfectly.

The set is a deep red with lacey fabric. Its simple yet very fucking affective. "What do you think?" She turns to me so I can see the front, she places both hands on her hips and my eyes wonder to her chest. I see her head shake and I come out of my trance.

"You don't wanna know what I think."

"What- you don't like it?" She frowns as she makes her way to me.

"The opposite." She smiles again, I lean forward to kiss her lower belly a light kiss. "Try on the next one so we can get home."

"What's the rush?" I readjust my pants and she nods nonchalantly before smirking and trying in the next one which is a dark burgundy. I buy her both even though she insist on not but I do it anyway.

We walk out the shop and I see her typing on her phone. "Who are you texting?" I ask casually. She tilts her phone away slightly and my chest tightens.

"This girl I met the other day, she just moved here." I nod trying to get a look at her screen growing suspicious of her demeanour. "What are you doing?"

"What are you hiding?"

"Don't answer a question with a question." She pockets her phone and takes her bags from my hands to place into my truck.

"Why are you hiding your phone?" I change my tone. "Who is it, Austin?" Her face drops.

"I cannot with you, right now." She whips the passenger side door open and jumps in before I can say anything. I climb into the drivers seat.

"Lee, I swear to god-"

"You swear what? Rafe." She shrugs. "Don't you trust me- I've given you no reason for you not to trust me I don't understand." I can tell she's trying not to get angry with me because she doesn't like fighting. Her voice stays calm but slightly agitated. "I'm allowed friends and I'm also allowed to have privacy over my own phone."

"What privacy do you need when I know everything about you?" She rubs her temples.

"Look, I've had a tough enough day as it is with Tony on my back and I do not need you adding to the mix, okay?"

I shake my head. "Fine."

"Fine." She repeats.

I start the car and the exhaust fills my ears. "I trust you."

"Good." Is all she says. "I've given you no reason to think otherwise." She's right, but my insecure ass thinks she'll leave me. Cheat on me. Which ever one, it'll happen eventually. Because she's too good for me.

"I love you."

"I love you too, Rafe, just please-"

"I know."
