chapter 12

Namjoon was shocked and he felt like killing Aphrodite, for messing up his first meeting with his fated

Our first meeting was supposed to be like a fairytale, our eyes would connect and we would fall in love at first sight. I would take him on many romantic dates and spoil him like a queen. I would profess my love to him every day

Namjoon gritted his teeth

But because of Aphrodite, I can't do any of that, thanks to her, my first meeting with my fated. How should I punish her, should I ground her and take away her boy toys, should I send her to live with Athena or Artemis for a year or -

Jin's laughter brought him back to earth and he blushed as he realized he was talking out loud

On the bright side he's laughing but I can't believe I said all that out loud

Namjoon looked at Jin and was in awe

Wow he is so handsome

"Thank you" Jin said and Namjoon facepalm as he realized he was talking out loud again

Jin was starting to calm down, he couldn't blame Namjoon since he was drugged so he decided to let it go

Meanwhile Namjoon was still sulking internally because he didn't have the perfect meeting he dreamed of

Jin looked at him and said " well we can still make this day better"

Namjoon looked at him in disbelief "how"

Jin got up and entered the kitchen, he took a picnic basket and started packing food in it " we can have a simple picnic date , we can do it in my garden and use this as an opportunity to know each other better"

Namjoon brightened up " that's a great idea" he got up and assisted Jin packing for their picnic

Jin bursted out in laughter " you cannot be serious right now"

Namjoon laughed in embarrassment " no I'm serious, it really happened"

Jin laughed even harder " so you're telling me that you burnt  food but instead of the food to burn, it was the pot that was burning, how is that even possible"

Namjoon rubbed the back of his neck " I have no idea, sometimes things just  break for no reason"

" Well maybe you should be the god of destruction" Jin said

" Oh ha ha very funny" Namjoon said while rolling his eyes

" Ok ok I'll stop, but just so you know you are banned from my kitchen ok" Jin said

Namjoon laughed " I totally understand "

"This is really fun " Jin said while smiling

"Beautiful" Namjoon said which Jin blush heavily

"So tell me more about your childhood" Jin said trying to make his blush go away

Everything was going great between the lovers, they spent more time together, went on more dates and fell more and more in love with each other.

Everything was perfect....

Until it wasn't, Namjoon was a new king, who didn't have the support of his Minister's or the people. He was disrespected by his Minister's and he didn't have enough power to punish or do anything

All his Minister's took turns pressuring him to take women into his harem and have offspring. Of course he refused but it was very hard when you are a king with no power

When Jin listened to his problems, he offered a solution which was for them to get married, Namjoon was hesitant at first but with the Minister's pressuring him and Jin's reassurance, he agreed

But he made sure to give Jin a perfect wedding and on their wedding night he made a promise

"Jin I swear on the river Styx , that you will be my only empress"

Jin was so happy and wished that they would have a happy and blissful marriage

But little did Jin know that their marriage would be filled with many troubles and problems

End of flashback

Looking back Jin regretted his decision, he shouldn't have married Namjoon, if he didn't marry him he wouldn't have gone through all that pain

Jin sighed as a tear rolled down his cheek , he regretted opening his window, he should have just minded his own business but no he wanted to be kind

Namjoon panted heavily as he ran into the room " Jin wait "

Jin wiped his tears and said " what now, do you want feed me more lies and make more empty promises"

Namjoon sighed " no, I want to explain everything. I was never honest with you from the start and I want to explain myself "

" Don't get me wrong I'm not trying to gaslight you or lie to you or try to make excuses for myself, I just want to tell you the full truth"

Ok so namjin is longer than I expected, I planned to write everything in one chapter until I started typing and realized how long it actually is, so the next chapter will probably and hopefully be the last chapter on namjin and you will all find out the reason Namjoon cheated
