Love, they said!
As if it is the only thing that makes you complete.
As if it is the only thing meant to be experienced in this world.
World full of deceit, disappointments, and hurt.
That is why love is a death wish.
You risk your heart for someone who may or may not love you,
who may or may not stay,
who may or may not be the one for you.
So love... is death.
Because your heart stops the moment you meet its eyes,
and you take your last breath the moment it passes you by,
the moment it bids goodbye.
Yet... love is a wish.
That even with the uncertainty of it, its temporary promise.
You stay.
You try to be the one.
And you love and love... just love, even with your bruised heart.
So even though love is a death wish,
you come home to it anyway.
