Nerve

Many a nerve we've all got curves
To each their own when youve got only bones
You take what you get and make them bet the underdog will win
Lost so many a time
For my writing is not only mine
I give my words not always great
Sometimes testing my own fate

Taking all the best I can
For I've been rusty like the tin man
Only for short periods of life
Have always been able to conquer my own strife
Giving thanks along the way
Is the safest way to play
I am grateful for the people i have me
I am sorry that I have let
