Blood... There was blood everywhere. Everything had gone wrong; I tried stumbling away, weaker by the moment; I tried holding my wound, but the damage was too great. As blood gushed out, I fell to the ground, gripping my last breath with everything I had. I couldn't stop trembling as I looked up and saw DK standing over me. I reached out, desperate.

"P-Please... DK, I n-Need you..."

DK kicked my hand out of the way, pressing her foot on me, holding me down, challenging her cursed energy into a finger gun. "My name is Bloody Mary, and I have no use for scum like you. Die."

Seven hours earlier...

My head shot up from my desk as everyone had already gone. I slept through class again, and no one seemed to care to tell me. Not that I was going to complain, to be fair. I was still feeling slightly numb from the most recent mission I had been sent on.

Being a supposed student at this dumb high school, I sure never spent much time here. Climbing out from my desk, I stretched with a yawn. "I'm not cut out for this school crap."

DK was lying on my desk, kicking her legs back and sulking. "Then let's just skip stupid classes together. Come on, you haven't spent any quality time with me since we arrived in this dumb country. Your attention and love have neglected me for two months now, and it's pissing me off."

"It's been two months? Where does the time go? I promise you, after today, we'll take a break. Me and you, we'll hit up the arcades and visit whatever attraction you want. No Gojo to get in our way."

DK sat up, eyebrow raised, and is now entirely buying my plan. "Are you sure? You're not just saying that to make me feel better, are you?"

"W-What?! No!" I reply, feeling a little bad. "I promise you, DK, no takebacks, pinky promise."

Jumping for joy, DK wrapped her arms around me, clinging on to laughter. "Thank you, thank you, thank you! Now you have no choice, you pinky promised. Oh, but you're broke?"

"With the way I see it, Gojo owes us quite the sum for the petty side-story missions we've been doing for him. We're going to play every arcade machine to perfection; every high score will be ours." I smirk, hugging her back; as we parted, I slid the door open, ready to meet up with the others. "It's a date DK."

I turned around, bumping into another student, one I hadn't seen before. I raised an eyebrow, confused. Why the hell was he shirtless? I looked up at him, sighing. "And you are?"

"What kind of girls do you like?"

A pause. Confusion followed by more confusion.

"My Japanese must be off because... Who the hell introduces themselves like that?"

The student only glared at me, clearly not happy with that response. "Kyoto, third year, Todo Aoi. There's your introduction; now answer the question. People with boring taste in women are boring people themselves. And I hate boring men."

This guy is actually serious. I glance at DK, who seems just as curious, holding her chin, amused. "Go on, Y/N, what's your type? Answer carefully now."

This only got another sigh; I'll be damned if I do, damned if I don't. I couldn't wiggle my way out of this one. I would have to answer.

Pushing my hands deep into my pocket, I leaned to the side, grumbling. "My type of woman is DK and DK only. If it isn't DK, they don't matter."

DK giggled, blushing. "That was the correct answer, my love."

"What else was I supposed to say, huh?" I shrug, seeing Todo crying; what was he crying about? I guess my option moved him so much.

"I knew it. No real answer, no type. You are boring."

"Hu-" I was cut off as DK quickly pulled at my collar in the nick of time as I avoided an attack from Todo. I stood taken back, looking at him as he, too, seemed thrown off by how I was able to prevent his attack. "What the hell is your problem?" I respond in a dry, uncaring tone.

Todo vanished from sight, appearing behind me and looking to grab me. Flipping back, I used the walls of the corridor to escape, only for Todo to fly in and land a punch. I blocked the strike, but the attack landed was way more substantial than I expected. Launched flying back, I crashed into another classroom, hunched over, coughing. How does one guy hit that hard? He's a third year in Kyoto. Why the hell was he here?

Todo climbed through the destruction with a smug yet pissed-off look all at once. "Dodging the question with bullshit, those who cannot give me a proper answer are boring. DK is not a type; what is a DK? My type is tall women with a big ass."

"Now that's just condescending." I croak, wiping my face and slowly standing up. "You really don't get it, do you?"

Todo smirked, watching me struggling to stand. "Are you for real?"

Pulling my sleeves back, I tightened the bloody bandages, letting small trickles fall to my fingertips. "I couldn't give a fuck who your type is; I don't even want to know; none of that matters when I have DK."

Swinging my hand, my blood hardened, cutting through the classroom. Todo rushed through, avoiding the attack and trying to tackle me out of the building. However, as he got closer, he slipped on the blood marked on the floor, grazing me. This only got a smirk from me.

While I cannot use DK's cursed techniques on the fly whenever and wherever I'd like without her taking control, there was a workaround; like the cursed blood, I'm able to use any Cursed technique DK plants on me while in control, stays on me when the pilot seat is handed back to me. Usually, I tend just to keep the blood she manifests lingering on my bandages. Still, her primary technique, superstition, can manifest in my command if I tie the curse down to an object. With this, I can fight without always having to rely on DK.

Dropping a small broken mirror, the cursed technique, thirteen activated for just a brief moment as Todo was inflicted with bad luck. I was able to avoid him entirely, kicking him in the back of the leg and forcing him down on one knee. Using this, I wrapped my arms around his neck, looking to choke him out, keeping the sorcerer down on the floor with no chance of escape. I wasn't as strong as most other sorcerers. In a hand-to-hand fight, I don't stand much chance, which is why I'm always looking for dirty tricks, misdirection and foul tactics. Whatever helps me win doesn't matter.

I don't care about honour or a fair fight; I just want to survive and win. Tightening my grip, I made sure Todo couldn't escape. Any attempt would be met with a kick to his leg. Just a little more, and he would be down for the count. I would say no hard feelings. Todo, instead of fighting back, held his hands up, clapping. I blinked as suddenly we had swapped places, and now I was being crushed by his grip. Holding me tight, he suplexed me back, throwing me through the building as I went flying out into the courtyard, crashing to the ground dazed. Todo jumped down, slamming into the ground with a large grin. "You're not like the others; you fight with more conviction and purpose. Not many have seen my boogie woogie firsthand, so I'll ask you one more time. Give me a proper answer."

"B-Boogie woogie? What in the Jackson 5 are you talking about?" I grumble, watching my wounds heal as I stand up.

"What is your type of woman?"

"This again... The answer remains the same..." I sighed, knowing this wasn't going anywhere, as I looked to DK, cracking my knuckles. "Go easy on him; killing a student won't get us anywhere."

Hey author, did ya ever mention how DK(Bloody Mary) looks like? Those she have a unique look or just like the actual spirit Bloddy Mary?
