Will:

Nico's eyes are a dark shade of brown.

They're as dark as the void, drawing away all the attention from anywhere else to them. But if you stared enough you could see.

You could see the reason why his eyes were like that. You could see why he immediately shuts down his emotions and keeps them in check.

His eyes... Are practically showing me his story.

They may look like they are hollow to you... But to me— they tell me everything.

And those glares— they're merely his way of alerting you to visible danger— even if you can or can't see it.

And I've learned that in three days.

Those three days he was here, in the infirmary.
