Meet Me... (Part 2)

NIco had never been so nervous his entire life.

None of the mishaps during his adventures with The Seven or Coach Hedge and Reyna had prepared him for this moment.

A one-on-one talk with Will.

It was like that feeling whenever you got to go backstage and meet your favourite celebrities.

Exciting. Nervous. Pressured.

What if he messed something up?

What if he did something so unmistakably terrible that Will would never want to talk or even look at him at all.

What if—

And that was when he heard the voice of his sister.

Bianca Di Angelo.

"Fratello, brother, it's your new life now. Go and live it. Live it how you want to live it and don't hold back. Don't be afraid to take a leap of faith."

He wasn't sure if his sister even spoke those words to him, but it was something to live by.

Nico took a deep breath and composed himself. He walked towards the door and opened it, before slamming it shut.

He silently cursed.

What if someone else heard him and they woke up?

He decided to run towards the lake.

He didn't give a dam.

//See what I did there.

He saw Will's silhouette standing near the pier.

"Nico," Will turned around and faced him "You came."

"Y-You told me to," Nico sharply replied.

Will laughed "But I never said you had to come."

"I never said I wouldn't," Nico whispered.

"But you still came, didn't you?" Will smiled.

"Yes. I did," Nico sat down next to him.

"But... I..." Will trailed off "It's nothing."

Nico raised eyebrow suspiciously.

Will? Not knowing what to say? Stopping mid sentence? Those three things did not match.

So he became curious.

"What is it? You know you can tell me," Nico shrugged.

"It's just that I...

"I.... Σε αγαπώ (1)," Will whispered and faced the other way.

Nico's breath hitched and his eye widened.

Will... Will felt the same was him!?

He smiled and kissed Will's cheek.

"Σε αγαπώ, Will Solace," he replied "Ti amo, idiota. You're so clueless— But I'm glad you feel the same way I do.(2)."

Nico leaned against Will and yawned sleepily.

//And CHB had a search party sent out for them only to find them sleeping soundly at the pier.
