"she's in jail. i won't know anything until her court date" Paris sister London said on the phone
"what did she do" i asked
"she shot Quel and some girl"
"wait you joking right"
"i wish i was" she said sounding like she was about to cry
"listen she gone be straight call me back when you find out something else"
"okay" she said before hanging up
"damn who got locked up" Dave asked while hitting the blunt
"Paris" i stated

"she tried to kill ole dude. she shot him and the bitch she caught him with"
"damn. you know what i saw her leaving work earlier she looked like she was already upset"

"so you gone help her or you still mad with her"
"i don't know man. she was really bout to stab a nigga over that lame ass dude"

3 weeks later
Paris POV
Court Day
"it was only self defense so Ms. Jones you are not guilty" the judge said
a big sigh of relief went throughout my whole body. i was so ready to go home.

"i still can't believe your ass went to jail" London said still shocked
"well you better"
"you gone talk to Adrian and Ant" she asked
"i don't know. but i do know i'm ready to leave" i said
"what you mean leave"
"i mean i'm leaving new york"
"are you serious" she said sounding upset
"yes"
"why. this is where your life is"
"and that's the problem. i don't want to be here with all these bad memories i want to start fresh"
"okay if that's what you want" she said before unlocking the car doors
the ride to my house was pretty quiet the only thing you could hear was the radio
we pulled up to my apartment and we both got out
"you don't have to follow me inside i'm not going to shoot nobody else"
"girl shut the hell up and go"
i rolled my eyes and went upstairs
i opened the door and out of nowhere i hear
"SURPRISE" everyone yelled
"omg y'all are weird" i laughed
everybody kinda sat around and talked to each other so i decided to go to my room and think. i really wanted to tell everybody i was leaving but then again i wanted to just leave and not tell anybody but i don't know
knock knock
"come in" i said as they interrupted my thoughts
"hey" Adrian said as she came in closing the door behind her
honestly i was surprised to see her and Ant here
"wassup" i said watching her every move
"i just wanted to apologize. it wasn't my place to get into your business or pick sides. i was wrong"
"no i was wrong. i knew me and him were toxic and i knew he would just make me lose my head and forget who's important. i'm sorry"
she smiled and hugged me
"i love you bestie" she said

"are you going to try and talk to Ant" she asked
"i tried calling him while i was locked away but he never answered. that was my way of trying"
"maybe he wanted to hear it from you face to face"

"okay my bad. but where in the hell did you get a gun from" she joked
"i bought it myself" i laughed
"but there is something that i need to tell y'all"
"what is it" she asked
"i'm leaving new york"
"WHAT! WHY?"
"new york has nothing for me anymore. this place is no good for me anymore. and i don't want to raise my child down here"
"wait what you mean" she asked confused
"i'm pregnant. i found out the day i shot Quel"

"really are you going to tell him" she asked
"hell nah. i wouldn't dare but i leave in 4 days"

"wow" she said as she stared at me
"it's time for me to just move on to better things for the sake of my child you just promise me you won't tell them about me being pregnant"
"i promise" she said looking like she wanted to cry
"it's gone be okay" i said hugging her
"aye- what's wrong with her" London asked coming in the room
"i told her about me leaving"
"oh" she said stopping in her tracks

"i was letting you know that the food is getting cold people are waiting on you"
