"did you find everything okay" i asked the customer at work
"yes"
"okay you're total is $85.99 are you using cash or card?" i asked
"cash"
"okay"
after she paid she grabbed her things and left out
"but yea i haven't heard anything else from him" i said resuming my facetime conversation with Adrian
"maybe he's just busy. i heard Ant saying that they had this big drop coming up and they didn't need any distractions"
"so i'm a distraction to him" i asked
"i mean kind of. think about it he got this big ass dangerous drop then he's trying to fix y'all's relationship"
"oh yea i didn't think of it like that"
"of course your overthinking ass didn't"

"no babe i need something out of here" this girl said on the phone as she walking into the store
"well i'll wait at the door i'm leaving the shoe store" i heard a familiar voice say on the phone
"who is that" Adrian asked
"a customer"
"oh yeah when is your therapy session"
"hold on let me change my airpod this one is about to die" i said as i took it out and switched it
"okay i'm back. but it's today at 3:30"
"how many more you have"
"it depends on how this one goes so i'm not even sure but hey it's time for me to clock out i'll call you before my therapy appointment" i said to her
"okay" she said before handing up
me and one of my coworkers was switching. she was just clocking in and i was leaving out
"hey ShayShay" i said speaking to her
"hey girl how was it today"
"it's been slow all day so you should be good for the rest of the day"
"okay good" she said
"see you later" i said before leaving out
as i was going out i saw Dave walking towards the store i was leaving from
i was trying to make up my mind quickly on if i wanted to say something. and you could guess i chose to do so
i walked up to him and he looked at me crazy
"so you were really going to walk passed me"
"what's up i ain't see you"
"what's up? what's up is i haven't heard from you in a week"
"i been busy"
"there you go i was just calling you. and who is this" the girl from the store said walking up
"oh i see" i said looking at the girl then back at him and walking off
once i got to my truck i crunk it up and left to go pick up Myri from Quel's house
few minutes later
i was now pulling up at his house so i texted him to come out
"wassup why didn't you come in" he said with Myri in her car seat
"i have somewhere to be and after i leave there i'm going straight home"
"okay" he said getting her right in the backseat
"tell Kennedi i said hey"
"i will" he said before walking off
therapy session
"oh myi see you brought the little one this time"
"yes ma'am" i said smiling
"she's so adorable
"thank you"
"so let's get into this session. how have things been since the last visit. i know we left off with you telling Dave about the situation that happened"
"uhm yea we talked"
"how did it go"
"well after i told him about it we agreed to work on our relationship but then that night i got drunk and said some things"
"and that was what" she asked
"i told my best friend that Dave killed my baby and i told Dave that i wouldn't have wanted the baby with him"
"how did he react and did your best friend know about this situation before hand"
"no he didn't so this was new to him. and he was pissed at me. i went to his house and we talked well i apologized. and we ended up doing some things. so i thought we were good after. but he was acting as if i wasn't there"
"okay and how did that make you feel" she said as she wrote some things down in her notebook
"it made me angry because i didn't mean it how he took it. i mean maybe a baby could come up three years from now. i don't understand him. i really tried but i give up" i said putting my head in my hands
