"so tell me" Meghan said getting straight to the point walking on the door
"tell you what"
"about yesterday. you wouldn't talk while we was walking out"
"well those were my friends and sister. the guy that you was talking to is the guy Antoine that i told you about"
"okay i know all of this. why didn't you talk to him then instead of freaking out"
"because what i didn't tell you was that they didn't know where i lived. they just knew i moved away. and and he also didn't know i was pregnant"

"right but we me and him ended up talking"
"and?"
"we're good now we both apologized to each other"
"that's good"
"and what about you Ms. thang i didn't know y'all had already met" i said smiling at her
"girl yes a few days ago actually. he's cute and nice"
"well since i'm your friend i will tell you that before i left he had a girl i'm not sure if they still together or what but just be cautious okay"

Later that day
i was bored as hell so i decided to go lay down in my bed and watch a movie. i was so comfortable i had done started dozing off to sleep. that was until someone started knocking on my door
i grabbed my phone to look at the doorbell camera to see Dave at my door
"what the fuck" i said to myself
i got up went to the door and opened it
"uhm hey" i said with the door open enough to see him
"damn you ain't gone let a nigga in"
"sure" i said a bit confused as to why he's here
i let him in and closed the door behind him. we went to my living room and sat down on separate couches
"so what brings you by here" i asked curiously
"i just wanted to chill over here for a bit"
"okay i guess"
"why you guessing ma"
"because me and you never really had a real conversation"
"well let's have one"
"you're serious" i asked
"yea why not"
"no reason. but what you want to talk about. or what do you want to know"

few hrs later
"that's crazy even though i can believe it" i said as i laughed at Dave
"exactly my parents couldn't believe that shit though. they were pissed" he said laughing
our laughing started to die down
"so how long are y'all here for"
"we was supposed to be leaving tomorrow but Adrian begged to stay a little longer so we leaving out in three days
"oh that's wassup" i said before yawning
"damn you tired"
"yea a little bit baby girl has worn mommy out with all this moving"
"can i feel"
"uhm sure" i said with a slight smile letting him rub my belly
"this shit don't hurt" he asked
"sometimes it do"

"don't you have a daughter"
"yea her names Kairi"
"that's so pretty"
"thanks but aye it's late you're tired i'm bout to head out"
"okay it was nice having you over you should come back before y'all leave"
"i'll see what i can do" he said before walking out
i got up locked the door behind him and went to take me a warm shower
Antoine POV
"this dude been gone all damn day and he ain't answering his phone" i said to Adrian
"maybe he got lost"
we heard the door to our bnb open and close and in walked Dave punk ass
"damn nigga where you been we been calling your phone. we was worried something happened to you" Adrian said walking up to him and punching his arm but not hard
"i was just out handling something"
"handling what? we ain't have no work to do down here" i asked
"listen don't question my whereabouts i'm grown nigga the fuck" he said laughing then walking upstairs
Dave POV
man this dude bugging ain't no way he that concerned about my location. maybe he know i was at his best friend crib. i don't know and don't care. she a grown ass woman if she didn't want me there she would've said that
