affirmations make you believe you can shift, they give you the intention and can help so much, but you don't need them to shift. Affirmations can gaslight you into making your brain think your in your dr ('I am (drself name)', 'I am in my dr.', etc) or they can help your subconscious get the point. Affirmations do not need to be said while trying to shift, they could be said anytime, anywhere - in fact they don't need to be said, you can just think them! Again, affirmations are not needed, but will aid you in your shifting journey.

I am in my dr.
I am going to shift.
I am going to shift tonight.
I have shifted.
My name is [_].
(Affirmations could be anything, they're not just limited to what's listed above or things similar to it. During shifting methods I've started listing off facts about my drself and using them as affirmations 😭)
