In the award show today Areum would be doing a duet with Sunghoon after her group performance with the other girls. She had gone through paparazzi and her groups performance so she was now waiting for a signal to go on stage.
"You nervous?" Sunghoon asked her as they waited
"Nah not really" she sighed, smiling at him
"You're lying" He chuckled "I can tell"
"Ugh" Areum laughed "you're right, I am"
"I'm always right" he shrugged "it's a very heavy burden to carry" He sighed, looking at the ground
"Well you carry it very well" Areum smiled "very gracefully"
"But seriously" he said "don't be nervous. We are going to do great, I promise"
"Thanks" she smiled, leaning her head on his shoulder "I'm nervous but I always am for performances. But I'm happy I'm doing it with you"
"Same" He nodded, smiling down at her "I feel less nervous knowing it's going to be you on stage with me"
"Yeah" she beamed "do you think they have every thing ready? Like the lights and music "
"Yeah" he nodded "It's going to be perfect" he assured, rubbing her arm
"You guys can go on now" the staff told them. Areum took a deep breath and Sunghoon did as well. She stepped in front of him and wrapped her arms around him "Ready, Hoon?"
"Yeah" he nodded against her shoulder "we're going to do great" he held her hand and they walked onto the stage. He squeezed her hand before letting go to get into his position. The white spotlight shone on Areum and she began to dance. Her spot light went off and sunghoons went on, immediately he started to dance , stopping when the stage turned dark. The beat dropped and the main light turned on. The audience screamed as the two danced together in perfect harmony. Their dancing was fluid just like the music. They were both elegant and graceful as they moved. The whole time Areum and Sunghoon were dancing they were smiling brightly. When their performance ended the audience screamed and cheered extremely loud, the loudest they ever had. Areum turned to Sunghoon and smiled brightly before taking his hand and walking off the stage, blowing kisses and waving to the audience
"You did so well!" Sunghoon exclaimed, pulling the girl into a hug
"You did too!" She beamed, hugging him back "that was so good, Hoon!"
Sunghoon smiled brightly before hugging her again "ah" he sighed, wiping his forward "I'm so tired" he laughed
"Same" she nodded "do you think we could have a nap before the awards?" They began walking to ETERNAL's dressing room
"Maybe" He sighed "we're meant to get ready in like 30 minutes so" he shrugged. Areum opened the door to the dressing room and sat on the sofa
"Honestly I don't care if we don't have time" she sighed, laying down "I'm too tired" Sunghoon laughed at her and sat beside her, letting her rest her head on his lap. After a few minutes they both fell asleep, Areum laying on the sofa, resting her head on his lap and Sunghoon sitting up with Areum laying on him.
After the two had woken up from their nap they got ready and went out to the main area where they would receive the awards. In the end the five girls received five awards. Most popular girl group, worldwide fans choice, song of the year,album of the year and artist of the year. Each time the girls got an award they would gasp and have extremely big smiles. The girls were so happy by the end of the day, all of them smiling brightly the whole night
"I can't believe it" Dawn exclaimed as they got into their dorm
"Same" Thea sighed "I mean three awards"
"It's crazy" Izumi sighed
"Insane" Serena nodded, walking to the middle of the room
"I'm so proud of all of you" Areum beamed, hugging all the members "Thank you for helping me reach these levels, that honestly I didn't think I'd ever reach. I love you guys so much"
