Chapter 39: The last breath

The final battle had begun. Ignis, trapped in the body of "Steve" tried to cover himself from the rain and the attacks of the campers and teachers.

- Suck that ash! -said Dany, while he pushed Ignis with his super agility so that the rain drenched him and thus he fell apart. - This one is about to kidnap me!

Then Lindsay and Dany applied the same method they used to scare Gaia away: dance, only this time they didn't make up rhymes. Steve/Ignis was melting in the rain, a puddle of orange goo. Lindsay, Dany and Michi the cat took advantage of the Mucus Ignis's inferiority and began to step on it.

Dany took out of his bag a jar in which they put the Ignis Snot along with a firecracker that would later explode getting rid of Ignis forever. Suddenly the sky magically cleared: they could now leave the residence.

- Do you see Dany?- Lindsay said hugging her friend. - We won!

-I have to tell you that thank you for saving me so many times. -Dany thanked his best friend. - If it wasn't for you, I'd probably be in Damian mode.

- Hey!- Damian found out, who was now with Lauren next to him. - Well, after all, you're right, I'm happy for you, friend.

Once the isolation bubble was broken, Grutilda decided to turn the residence into a hostel. Grutilda asked Lindsay and Dany what the hostel could be called, to which they both answered Hestia, in honor of the goddess who had helped them so much.

That night a second party was thrown, this time with Grutilda and Luke in it. There was nothing to worry about anymore... or maybe it was?

-But... nobody remembers us. -Mary concluded. - What are we going to do with all these young people? Where will we go?

-For now, stay at the residence.- Grutilda offered kindly. -They can live here, apart from the fact that they will have to take care of looking for residence for the following year's camp.

-I've already taken care of that.- Carl said, showing a prairie residence on his laptop. - It's called Cloudy Skies and it only has good reviews, plus it will be free by then.
