Jade
After driving for a half hour and us forcing the boys to listen to Taylor swift we finally arrived at James's restaurant.
"You played that one song so many times, i know all the lyrics by now" - Xander says, as soon as we get out of the car.
"Good" - i reply
"We have a fellow swiftie!" - Av jumps exited.
"What is a swiftie?" - James asks.
"Hello?" - i snap my fingers in front of his face.
"Taylor Swift?"
He just shakes his head in confusion.
"Her fans are called" swifties"
"How dumb can you be?"
"Oh please don't say that, I've been hearing those words all my life" - James says, sarcastically.
"Well they are right" - i smile.
"Whatever, let's just get in"
James opens the restaurant and we all sit down at one of the tables.
"You better cook something amazing for us, or i will murder you" - i warn him.
"With what?"
"A fork?" - he chuckles.
"Better" - i smirk as i reach for a knife.
"A knife" - i wave it around the air.
James's smile completely falls.
"Right, well i better start immediately" - he walks to the kitchen.
"For fucks sake" - Xander laughs.
"What the hell are you laughing about?"
"That dude is whipped"
"What are you talking about?" - i ask confused
"Nothing it's just that he would never cook for us that quickly"
"Well that's because he doesn't fear you guys" - i say, proudly
"He doesn't fear you either" - Xander says, with a serious look on his face.
"Do you want a drink with the burger Jade!" - James yells from the kitchen, inturrupting our conversation.
"Exhibit A" - Xander smirks at me.
"You don't know what you're talking about" - i roll my eyes at him.
"You do know that we're here too right?" - Av calls out to James, making Xander laugh harder.
"Of course Av!" - James calls back.
"I'll get your orders as soon as i give Jade her food!"
"Exhibit B" - she smiles at me.
I don't bother to respond. Whatever i say isn't gonna make them change their opinion, their wrong opinion.
James's couldn't possibly ever like me. In fact im sure he hates me. I believe he only tolerates me because of Xander, which would hurt me if another person was doing that but not him.
Ha!
Exhibit A that he doesn't like me!
God Jade you're becoming one of them.
Plus why would i be hurt when i know that the only reason i tolerate him is because of Xander and Av too. And of course my parents.
Exhibit B
Stop Jade!
"Here you go" - James walks in with my food, snapping me out of ny thoughts. That were about him.
Weird. Really weird.
"You forgo-
He cuts me off
" Your soda is in the fridge "
" I forgot to put all the sodas in the fridge in the morning and now they're all warm, so i put yours in the freezer "-he explains, running out of breath.
" For God's sake, sit down! "-i push him down in one of the chairs.
" But Av's and Xande-
"It's alright man, what is important is that Jade got her food" - Xander tells him.
"Yeah" - James responds, surprising me and himself apparently.
Xander starts laughing again.
"Exhibit C" - he finally says out of breath.
"What is he saying?" - James looks over at me and then Av.
"The usual stupid bullshit" - i say.
"Right Av?" - i turn to look at her, hoping she would go with it.
"Yeah you know Xander" - she pats Xander's shoulder.
Realising what she just did, she immediately removed her hand, but Xander stopped her and placed her hand on his shoulder where it was.
My little lovebirds have grown up!
I look at James and he winks at me, smirking.
"We have to start with a plan, now" - i quietly mouth the words to him.
He nods, and gives me a thumb up.
"I already have one" - he mouths back.
I arch an brow.
James's ideas aren't always... Good.
I really hope he proves me wrong, at least this time.
I won't even be upset if he does.
