4. Mine

20 2 1

In the garden of my heart
Where all the flowers have falled
Would you like to roam?

Where the land is barren
And the sky is eerily dry
Would you feel home ?

Where the ancient thorns would pierce you through
And the muddy grounds
may hold you behind
Would you still stay
And not loose your mind ?

Alive at face but dead at soul
Lush green at sight but dried to the core

Would you lay comfy ?
At a place so rotten
Where the leaves of pine would feel you cotton

Why will you bear so much of pain ?
Why so much struggle just to be sane ?

Won't you find 'nother lawn
With the prettiest of hibiscus
Of a lively sky and soft fields
Without a mud so Viscous

If so you tell me
This should I do
I with an uplifted smile
Shall turn you down

As ....dear me
If I were to go
On a foreign land to sow
How will I make it
a symbol of my sign ?
How will I dearly
Call it mine ?
