11am on a Saturday. Once again, Mario shoots out of his bed, panting heavily. Another nightmare... he thought, as he plopped his head back down on his pillow and sighed. He felt fear and defeat, the horrible thoughts of his brother were haunting him, and he didn't even know why. Mario never had nightmares like this, not until a few weeks ago, and now they seemed to be nonstop.
A knock was heard from his bedroom door. He didn't even bother to get up, he just placed his arm over his eyes and sighed.
"Hey Bro?" Mario's younger brother, Luigi, called from outside the door. "Are you awake yet?"
Mario felt a weird sense of Deja Vu upon hearing his brother's words.
"Come in..." He stated blankly. Luigi slowly walked inside the room, sitting on the side of Mario's bed.
"You didn't forget about the party Peach planned tonight, right?"
What.
"What?? I thought we weren't doing more of those for a while?? Do you not remember last time?" Mario shot his head up again, looking at his brother in concern and confusion. "I figured you of all people wouldn't want another party the most!"
Luigi tilted his head to the side, holding a confused expression. "Eh? Last time was great! Remember?" He shrugged his shoulders. "It's been a while, but I still remember it! It was so much fun, we even managed to invite Cuzzo to it, remember? He was able to take the day off and it was so convenient!" Luigi smiled upon the memory.
Mario's pupils shrunk slightly. He raised an eyebrow and looked back at his brother. "What..? No, the last party, Luigi. The one we had like 2 months ago. Y'know, the one where... the incident happened.."
"Incident? What incident?"
"You don't remember??"
"No... Should I?"
"You almost died- how do you not remember?!"
"...Are you okay, br- 0100010101010010010100100100111101010010- o?"
Mario's pupils shrank about 10x more, his hands began shaking and his breath grew cold. He looked down and noticed his floor was.. glitching? "W-what... is this..?" Mario moved his eyes back to his brother, only to see binary code on his face.
Mario's face fell, as he took a step back in shock, which was soon replaced by fear as he soon saw everything in his room turn into binary code and glitched. He looked around frantically, still walking backwards, still scared. "L-let me out! Where am I?!" He noticed his feet, code. Pure code.
"N-no.." He froze, as the binary began to rise up his body slowly. Zeros and Ones. All he began to see was zeros and ones.

Mario closed his eyes as he accepted his fate.

"MARIO!"
Mario, for the second time today, shot out of bed, panting heavily. He looked around rapidly, in a frantic motion, only to be stopped when he saw Luigi next to him, tears furiously streaming down his face. "W-wha-?"
"What was that?! You scared me, bro! Are you okay?! What were you dreaming about?!" Luigi stammered, wiping the tears.
"H-huh? Did I do something..?"
"You were kicking and screaming in your sleep.. again.. Something about remembering the party.. Another nightmare?"
"..Maybe.."
Upon hearing those words, Luigi took no time to wrap his brother into a warm, comforting hug. "It's okay, big bro, it's okay. I'm here, relax, I'm here." Mario hesitated to embrace the hug, but quickly found himself resting his head on Luigi's shoulder, tears beginning to flow from his restless eyes.
"I... I'm so scared..." He mumbled by complete accident.
"I know, you can tell me everything, big bro."
"No... n-no I can't.."
"Yes you can. You always can."
Mario didn't peep another word. He just let himself lay in his brother's arms. He felt so safe, he felt okay again. His breathing steadied as he lay there. Luigi's comforting grip grew tighter in a protective sense as Mario closed his eyes. He let himself slowly fall back asleep as Luigi held him there in his arms, calmly rubbing his back and humming a song to relax him.
Soon, Mario was back in bed, snoring softly, as he was finally, FINALLY able to sleep soundly. It had been weeks since he had gone to sleep peacefully, but now he had finally gotten a good night's rest, and it was all thanks to his brother.
Luigi smiled softly as he closed the door slowly, allowing himself to go back to sleep in his own room.

Didn't mean for this to be released damn near 2 months after the last one. Just haven't been motivated nor have I had ideas, but don't worry! I'll get these chapters out! This won't go discontinued, promise!
