Chapter one
"Madison let's go!" Madison's mom yells from down stairs. "Hold on!" Mads yells back.
Today is Madison's and her twin brother Carter's first day at their new school in Germany. They recently moved to Germany from California.
Madison grabs a pair of baggy jeans and a black top and puts them on before running down stairs.
"We have to go or you'll be late for school." Madison's mom says. "I know mom." The girl grabs her shoes and runs to the car.
"Madison!" Her mom yells. "What?" Mads gets in the front seat while Carter gets in the back.
"You're going to get your new socks dirty." The woman tells her daughter. "Sorry." Madison chuckles.
"It's not funny those socks were expensive." Her mom glares at her.

Madison's mom Allison stops the car. Both Madison and Carter get out of the car and start to walk into the school building.
"Hey!" Allison yells at them. They both turn around confused. "Bye love you." Their mom says. "Bye!" They both say.
Allison drives off and The twins walk into the office of the school.
"Hello how may i help you?" A lady asks. "We're new students." Carter says to the lady.
"Ok what are your names so we can find your first class." The lady says. "Carter and Madison Kurt." The boy says.
"Alright looks like you guys both have History." The woman tells them. "Thank you." Madison says.
The twins walk into the hallway of the school to find their class.
"Excuse me do you know where History with Mr. Dallas is?" Mads asks a girl. "it's right behind you." The girl says.
The two kids walk into the classroom.
"You must be the new students." Mr. Dallas says.
"Yeah we are." Carter says. "Ok you guys can sit in the two empty seats in the back." The teacher points to the seats.
"Thanks." Madison says and walks over to her seat.
A boy with spiky hair sits next to Mads on her left and a boy with baggy clothes and a hat sits on her right and Carter sits on his right.
Mr. Dallas starts his lesson on Germany's history and past when Mads feels a tap on her shoulder. she looks over to see the boy looking at her.
"Hey i'm Tom." The boy says. "Mads." She smiles at him. "Nice name." Tom says. "Thanks." Mads smiles even bigger.

The bell rings and Mads stands up and grabs her things.
"Hey Mads." Tom says.
Mads turns around to face him. "Do you wanna sit with me and my friends at lunch? Carter can sit with us to." He says.
"Yeah of course." Mads nods her head. "Cool. See you then." Tom smiles then walks away.
