Such a fierce thunderstorm was a common occurrence for the mountainous terrains of Scotland, and especially at Hogwarts where the rain seemed like a nightmare straight out of a Lovecraftian tale. Eerie rain sounds, thunder, and lightning hinted at an ominous omen rather than a natural phenomenon— the wind that whistled between the branches, knocking on doors and windows. It was not the most pleasant thing someone could experience.

A soft blue haze flickered on Althea's face as she repeated the same incantations "Lumos!" "Nox!". With her legs crossed, she sat in front of the window, watching the raindrops fall rhythmically on the glass surface and the lightning tear through the sky with a dazzling light that could illuminate the entire room.

And then that numbness she had felt before came back and she felt it rising from her joints to her arm and from her cheekbones to her entire head. She did not know if what she felt was a simple numbness or a superficial goosebump, but she knew that the memory that accompanied it would remain etched in her memory.

She was timid, letting that scum touch and threaten her as if she were a girl who did not know how to defend herself. When you face danger, you freeze without any opportunity to react in time, and when the storm passes, your mind races light years ahead thinking about what you could have done.
