Y/n and Ruby made their way to the small coffee shop that was on the edge of the campus. The entire time Y/n was doing his best not to laugh at his friend, since she was being a bit dramatic over her hangover.

"I want.. a handgun.. to shoot myself.." Ruby said, rubbing her temple. Y/n giggled, only for Ruby to elbow him in the side. "Shut up, military man."

"You gonna think twice about drinking so much next time?"

"..Yes.."

"Are you still gonna drink at the next party you go to?"

"...No.."

"Are you lying?"

"...Yes.."

Y/n laughed as they walked through the front door of the coffee shop. Ruby went and sat at the quietest table she could find while Y/n waited in line. When he got to the front, he ordered two coffees, payed for the drinks, and sat with Ruby.

"Thank you, military coffee man." Ruby said as she took a long swig of her coffee. Y/n chuckled, taking a sip of his own drink.

"Hey, Ruby, could I ask you something? I need some advice."

"Sure, go ahead."

"There's this.. girl.. that I like.. I'd go so far as to say I love her.. We've been through a lot over the last couple years... but...." Y/n looked out the window of the shop, towards the parking lot. He didn't see Shatter anywhere.

"But?"

"But.. I don't know how she and I could be in a relationship. We're both very different in a lot of ways. Worlds apart. And I really want to be with her, but I don't know it'll work."

Ruby sat back in her chair. She took a moment to think about her response, taking a sip of her coffee.

"Well, the way I see it, you should just tell her how you feel and see where it goes from there. I mean, you'll never know how she feels about you or the situation if you don't ask her. And you say you're different, that can be a good thing. You never know, she might be the perfect person for you, the one you're meant to me with."

"You really think so?"

"I wouldn't be saying it of I didn't. Just go for it."

Y/n smiled, a little reassured, and took a sip of coffee. The two finished off their drinks and left the shop, their free time was over and it was time for their next class.

Shatter sped down the road back towards the campus, Airachnid's words lingering in her head.

'I knew that female was getting to close to Y/n! I'll rip her Spark from her chassis when I get my hands on her!'

Shatter pulled into the main parking lot of the campus, watching as Y/n and Ruby left the coffee shop and walked back towards the main campus building.

'I can't confront her in broad daylight. I need to warn Y/n without making a scene. Frag it all!'

On the opposite side of the campus, Airachnid slowly drove through a side lot, watching Y/n as he entered the main building.

'I can't make my move just yet.. I'll have to wait for my opening. I'll soon have everything I want. The power of Primus will be mine.' Airachnid chuckled as she parked and watched her prey.

Overhead, Airachnid watched as a military helicopter flew by, almost too high to see. But Airachnid recognized the aircraft.

'Grindor? It seems Megatron will make his move soon. I'm running out of time, and if Megatron gets Y/n first, I'll lose everything.'

The newly resurrected Megatron stood in an abandoned factory with Starscream. Megatron was adjusting his fusion cannon, trying to get adjusted to his new body and the weight of his weapon.

"Lord Megatron." Starscream groveled. "When will we make out move against the human insect?"

"All in due time, Starscream. My agent within the human knowledge complex will make her move soon, and when she does, I will claim what is mine."

"You mean the location of the machine? And the Matrix?" Starscream asked.

"That's right. And with both, I will destroy the humans and extract enough Energon to build a new army."

"But what about The Fallen? Our master?"

Megatron suddenly slammed his fusion cannon into Starscream's faceplate, knocking him against the wall.

"I am the only master I have. The Fallen has lorded over me for too long, and with the Matrix of Leadership he will bow to me."

"But The Fallen is too powerful, master."

"The Fallen is a failed Prime and an old bot! He is rusted and weak. If he will not submit, I will destroy him." Megatron growled, returning his attention to his weapon. Starscream left the confines of the abandoned factory, leaving Megatron to his own devices.

"Things will not end well, but regardless of the outcome, I will prevail. Whoever wins this struggle between Megatron and The Fallen, they will be weak and I will finish them off and take the Decepticons for myself." Starscream mumbled, chuckling as he transformed and flew off.
