chapter one 1864
3RD PERSON'S POV:
*Flashback*
"Victoria? Yeah, I know her. She is Mr. Salvatore's Fiance"
"Is not she daughter of mayor Lockwood?"
"Jason Salvatore is going to marry her"
That's how people knew Victoria Lockwood. They only knew that she was going to marry Jason Salvatore and she was Mayor's daughter.
People didn't know them, how her family, best friend and Fiance did. They knew her the best. They knew what she liked, , loved, would do and everything else.
Victoria was beautiful, nice, pretty, perfect, rich, funny, lovely, sweet but she was too much perfect. Victoria hated the word 'perfect'.
She wanted to be normal girl.
She wanted normal life.
The things she loved in her life was, her Fiance, best friend and family. Mostly Fiance. Jason Salvatore. Jason loved Victoria more than anything. She meant world to him. He would die for her without thinking.
Victoria would have done same bur Jason would never let her. They were each other's first love and they hoped that it would be for forever but something has changed.
Like you heard Jason was Salvatore. Him and his sister, Sabrina were the youngest's. There were also Damon and Stefan Salvatores. Damon, eldest brother, Stefan, middle.
After their mother's death, Sabrina was heartbroken. She lost her mother, her best friend, person who have birth to her.
Her aunt came in her life. Diana Salvatore was Giuseppe Salvatore's sister. She has lost her husband. She moved with her brother to take care of her niece and nephews.
Since the day Diana came in Sabrina's life, she became second mother to her. She taught everything to Sabrina. Diana loved Sabrina as her daughter. Sabrina loved Diana as her mother.
Victoria's mother loves Victoria but she was too busy with other things, so Diana also was second mother to her. Victoria was happy to have life like that.
Right now Victoria walked in her best friend's room where Sabrina was still sleeping. Victoria rolled her eyes as she sat down on the bed and tried to wake the youngest Salvatore up.
"Wake up, S" Victoria said to Sabrina who was still sleeping. Sabrina slowly opened her eyes and glanced the Lockwood girl.
"Go away, V" Sabrina said before sleeping again. Victoria rolled her eyes and nodded her head with smirk.
"Fine" Victoria said. "No, Mr. Salvatore, she isn't waking up. Maybe something is wrong with her" Victoria acted like she was talking to Giuseppe Salvatore.
Sabrina got up as she heard her best friend talking to her father. "No, father! I am awake" she then saw her father was nowhere to be found and Victoria was giggling. "Seriously!"
"Sorry"
"Look, who is awake finally?" A voice came behind them. It was Jason who was speaking.
"I still wanna sleep" Sabrina said as she started walking towards her bed. Victoria rolled her eyes and went to stop her but Jason did it before she could.
"No one is sleeping, little sister. We have to go and see our brother before Damon leaves." Jason said and Sabrina rolled her eyes.
"But-"
"No buts! Come on, after that me and you have to choose some dresses for my birthday" Victoria said and the two girls walked away to find something for Sabrina to wear.

"You look perfect" Sabrina said as Victoria came with wearing red dress. They were choosing dresses for Victoria's birthday.
"You told same thing about green, white and blue dresses." Victoria said.
"Yeah, but this dress is the best unlike others. It's gorgeous and beautiful. I love it and Jason will love it too. Also it's suits your hair color" Sabrina explained and made Lockwoods to smile.
"Thank you, S" Victoria said. "Now, go and choose dress for yourself. Find the best one for you" she added and Sabrina nodded as she walked away to choose dresses for herself.
Victoria stayed where she was standing and stared herself in the mirror. She was thinking about some things which she found in her house. A day ago, Victoria found diaries of her ancestors and a plant. The problem was when she was looking at plant, smelling it or was near the plant, she wasn't feeling well.
Victoria turned and saw the same plant which she found in her house, was there. In a second Victoria wasn't feeling good. She had headache. Victoria put her hand on her forehead and was going to fall but someone caught her.
It was Sabrina.
She came and caught her before Victoria would fell. Sabrina got worried. Victoria sat down on the chair which was near her.
"Are you alright, V? What happened?" Sabrina asked her best friend who wasn't feeling well.
"I-I am fine. It was nothing, really. Can we go, please?" Victoria replied and asked to go at home. She was tired.
"It wasn't nothing, V! We have to tell someone. What if something is wrong?" Sabrina asked, worryingly about her best friend who wasn't feeling good.
"No! No! Do not tell anything to anyone, especially Jason. I do not want anyone to worry about me" Victoria said and Sabrina was silent. She didn't know what to say.
There was silence.
"Brina?" Victoria asked her friend who looked down. "Do you promise me that you won't tell anything to anyone?" She asked again and Brina looked at her.
