Chapter 19 Some time together
3RD PERSON'S POV:
Stefan is walking down an empty hall. Victoria comes out of the biology class and bumps into him. They smile.
"Anything?"
"No. Sorry"
"In 1864, here instead of school was a kindergarten where we met." Victoria said and she thinks again. "Actually, I think you were coming from that direction" she points behind her "because I remember looking that way, so maybe if we switch..."
"Sure."
They try to switch directions but both times both step on the same spot, blocking each other. Victoria takes Stefan by the shoulders and switch around. She lets go of Stefan's shoulders when she realizes she's touching him—it might have brought some memories.
"This is where we collided. Let's try again. Shall we?" Victoria said and she starts walking towards the biology class but Stefan stops her by grabbing her arm.
"Hey, Victoria. As frustrating as it is for me not to have any memories, I really don't think that re-creating the time we met is magically gonna bring it all back." Stefan said and Victoria sighs.
"Yeah, I know. Right. I am sorry. I...It's just that seeing you like this is so...strange." Victoria said and Stefan looks at her offended.
"I am strange? You are the one who is going to give birth to children and they are not even your. Do I even want to know why?" He asked and she shrugged.
"Let's just say I am helping your sister to make you an uncle." Victoria said awkwardly and Stefan laughs.
Some football players come inside the school. One of them has a cut on his head and it's clearly bloody. Victoria reacts fast.
"I want to show you something. Come on."
"Yeah, sure."
"Come on."
A few moments later they are standing outside of the school in front of the big Mystic Falls Timberwolves logo.
"Close your eyes."
"You close your eyes."
Victoria smiles "Come on, Stefan. Trust me."
"All right."
He closes his eyes. Victoria disappeared away from him for ten minutes. "All right. You can open them. The view's great! Come on up." She said and she's standing on the school's roof.
"How the hell do I get up there?"
" Jump. Just push off with every ounce of strength that you have. I am werewolf and I can't do it but you can" she said.
"Okay." Stefan tries it and he makes it. He's now on the rooftop with Victoria. He looks surprised but satisfied. "All right. Well, I have to admit that was, uh—that was actually pretty amazing."
