Louie POV-
As soon as I saw the 'new scout leader' I might of took a wrong expression of him. Totally opposite of what I imagined but I can't trust him yet he might be fooling us.
"Oh hi new friends!! I'm Digger.
Digger Scott! I'm the new scout leader and I will help you on your mighty adventures! We will claim all the badges one day!" He said, going around shaking a couple of hands.
I still felt suspicious of him and his gestures. But I just shook it off.
Huey POV-
I am so excited for Lou's first day at woodchucks! Though I do hope he enjoys this.
The new scout leader was so kind which makes this a whole lot better.
As I escaped my train of thought, I saw the leader run to Louie and give him one massive hug. Louie probably wasn't enjoying it. I could tell.
"Eek!! Get off me!" Louie screeched.
"But you are my new friend and I heard it's also your first day so we are first day buddies!!" The scout leader said.
Well clearly he knew nothing about Louie.
He put Louie down and Louie brushed himself off.
"I also heard you like gold! Well you're in for a treat because tomorrow we will hunt for some!"He said, enthusiastically.
Maybe he did know a bit I guess.
"Well what are we doing today?" Some other kid asked.
Digger began, "Well I have a schedule since it's my first day. So we will have to follow that today, I'm afraid. But I promise tomorrow!"
Great that gives me time before that 'hunt' to teach Louie a few things about badges! And how to earn them.
