Walking the hall to my first period 'English 2' class, I was able to make it just in time before the bell rung

"Goodmoring Mrs. Perry, how are you" I entered greeting with a gentle smile

"Hello Miss. Densmore & Im doing just wonderful" She said taking her time passing me the worksheet

When I was walking towards my spot I seen someone in it and it didn't anger me as much because this was only my 5th day at my new school

"Excuse me, you're in my seat" I said after gently tapping the light skin guy with shoulder length twist

"Get a new spot newbie" He lauged as he continued to type on his phone not looking up

"Yo Dd just come sit over her ma heart!"

Dd is his name.

The Dd guy stood up & then made eye contact with me before walking off

Throughout the whole class period Dd would look at me & when I would catch him he would look away quickly

After surviving 4/8 classes it was time for lunch, I was still nervous to get lunch at this school so I sat at a table by myself

I pulled out my phone and scrolled on twitter which entertained me until I was interrupted

"Hey Navy" Eva smiled as she sat near me at the lunch table, I then closed my phone and greeted her

"Come sit with me and my friends" She said pointing to a table with students our age, just when I was about to agree I seen Dd staring at me

"No I'm okay" I smiled "And plus I think one of your friends don't like me"

"Who?" She asked looking back at her friends to spot them out

"I think his name his Dd, or at least that's what somebody called him"

"Girl he's was the one who noticed you and told me to invite you over to our table" She informed with a smirk "I didn't know you had this lunch until he asked to be put on"

"You're just trying to get me to go over there" I denied rolling my eyes applying clear lipgloss

She grabbed my hand forcing me up, Im glad I had my phone in my hand and my purse on my forearm because I would left my things the way she pulled me away to her original area

"Everyone this is my friend Navy, she's valid so be cool" She announced holding my hand, Everyone greeted me but Dd didn't say nothing but he stared

Eva then let go of my hand and Dd waved my over by his spot so I walked over to him and he pulled up a chair next to him so I could sit

"So Navy...Why so blue?" A girl asked trying not to laugh, she was literally the only one laughing

"Yo Tamara you corny" Darrian said with a straight face as he ate the wings the school served today

My chair was starting to move towards dd but I didn't even care to question it because I knew it was him

" So 'Nav where are you from" A dude that look similar to dd asked

"Washington Dc"

"Ouuu she from the Dmv, we got a ooterrr" he said with interest

"Yo David give me yo cookie" The boy said looking at Dd

"Notti you still hungry"? Darrian laughed eating his hot chips

Dd then passed the cookie over and snaked his arms on my lower back to keep me close as everyone broke off into their own conversation

"I've been watching you" Dd whispered once he got close to my ear

"I'm pretty sure the whole school seen you 'Watching me' " I laughed looking over at him

A smirk curled on his lips and my heart fluttered when my face heated

"It is decided, Navy you'll sit with us at lunch until you're tired of us, And it's been talked amongst us while y'all was flirting...you're perfectly for my brother" Notti announces with the biggest smile on his face & everyone agreed

"Well i'm tired of y'all now so i'm 'bout to go" I said standing up acting like i'm about to leave but David pulled me back down

"Yo stop playin"
