The sound of my alarm woke me up rudely, I wanted to stay in bed the 4th time again but it's Friday and I decided just to go to school today before thanksgiving break

I got up and stretch before going to the bathroom, My tank top revealed my large bruise that was on my shoulder that spreaded to my upper left chest, back shoulder blade & down the upper arm

"God, If you hear me; Please let me get through today...smoothly" I said before grabbing my toothbrush and toothpaste

I kept my eyes closed as I brushed my teeth, Once I was done I grabbed my towel and roughly wiped my face but I instantly threw my towel down and looked in the mirror closely

"Bruh this shit lame" I groaned before leaning closer to the mirror and seen a bruise on my cheek bone and a cut on my temple

I truly wasn't feeling good so I went to go change into a cupped bra and put on a male wife beater with baggy sweat pants, I seen the bus from out my bedroom window so gabbed my nike zip up jacket, backpack and ran out

"Bye ma" I said rushing out, The sound of the bus taking off made me slow down because It was no use of running down the sidewalk to catch it

As I walked to school I took the rubber band off my wrists and put my hair into a messy low bun, Rain began to fall from the sky as the grey clouds took over

My Ugg boots quickly sucked in the rain which made it feel like weights were on my feet, I put my hoodie on and put my airpods in my ears

I scrolled through apple music till I found my desired song Day by Day - Little Jimmy Scott

The song filled my ears as I tucked my AirPod case & my phone into my pocket, I kept my head down

By time the song was over so was the walk to school, I looked up at the school building before walking up the stairs to the main doors

"You're 23 minutes late" The front office worker said scolding me

"I missed the bus, I had to walk" I said before she buzzed me through the door

I sighed loud and hard before walking the hallway to my first period class, When I arrived to her his door I took my AirPods out or he'll tell me about it, I took my phone and AirPods and put them in my backpack
