The bell for the last class of the day was about to ring in 3 minutes so I began packing up my things to prepare for dismissal
"Do you wanna hangout by the lake tomorrow" A girl that I never spoken to asked
"No thank you" I politely declined
"Just you're popular doesn't mean you can be a bitch!" She said before slamming her hand on my desk
"Do it one more time i'll break ya hand" I gritted through my teeth as I stared into her eyes
Ofc she pouted and stomped off, The bell rung so I got up & put my backpack on my back; Honestly I'm not popular because i'm good at something or because i'm rich, More of because people think I'm pretty. Though i'm 'Popular' I don't act like it, I do my work & I stay solo; meaning I don't got a big group of friends
"Inari & Darrian can you two stay back, I'd like to talk to both of y'all" The teacher Mr. Jefferson said
I looked at Darrian and we both walked towards the desk as students left out, Once the door closed Mr.Jefferson cleared his throat
"Darrian I've noticed you've been falling short on your work causing your grade to go down & I really want to help you; Now Ms. Poverly on the other hand is smart as ever and I believe she can help tutor you, Im offering extra credit for both of y'all; Inari if you can help him pass the next test you'll get extra credit & you'll be bumped up to a junior 11th grade geometry^1 class. Darrian if you pass, your grades will go up & you'll get 2 credits" Mr.Jefferson said offering us a deal
Once you graduate you'll be officially released from this school so graduating early is something I've been working hard for
"Sure, I can help; but of course that's up to Darrian if he accepts his end of the agreement!" I excitedly said with a gentle smile on my face
