"Wait... Who the fuck are you?" the boy asked with a slightly confused tone.

"I-uh- I just- I was- I'm-" I stutter really bad when I'm nervous. It's how my mom knows when I'm lying. I hate that bitch sometimes.

"Did you just move here or what. Also why are you sweating, it's like 60 degrees (F) outside?" the girl with glasses asked.

"Haha, Chelsea, stop asking him so many questions." he laughed.

"But Ezra, we've literally never ever seen this man before. Not at all. In our lives. Ever." Chelsea said with a slight look of annoyance on her face.

Ezra faced me, "Ignore them, she just doesn't like newcomers, haha! Anyway, what's your name?"

"Uhm i-its Luke, Luke Cartel." I said quietly. "Ah, Luke! What a cool name! Anyway, I'm Ezra Montgomery. And this is Chelsea Sky, Max Sky, and Bethany Hughes!"

"Hey." Chelsea said with a scoff.

"Hi!" the violinist, Max, said.

"H-hi." Bethany said, clutching onto her harp.

Ezra looked at me again. Silent eye contact that lasted a couple seconds, before Chelsea had to interrupt, "Isn't Luke a common siren name? I've heard rumours that they now posses the power to disguise themselves as other creatures. Maybe that's where Skylar went..."

Ezra yelled, "Oi! Skylar is perfectly fine! She probably just ran away ok?!" Ezra took a deep breath. "Also that's just idiotic human nonsense, Chelsea, they say aliens are taking over. Aliens."

Skylar. It was a nice name. "If you don't mind me asking, who's Skylar?" I chimed in.

"Shes my older sister. She's been missing for three months." He looked down.

"Hey," Bethany chimed in, "Why don't we take our new friend, Luke, to The Glass House?"

Ezra looked back up, his eyes were watery, "Yea. I am pretty hungry. Who's all going?"

"Not me. I don't like this guy." Chelsea said with a scowl.

"Too bad, sis." Max said "I guess I'll just have to eat all the delicious food and not get you any because today you woke up decided to be a bitch. And no one likes a bitch attitude."

"Ugh fine." Chelsea said. "Great! So everyone's coming! Let's go!" Ezra exclaimed.

~~~~~~
We all arrived at the restaurant. "Man I am sooooo hungry!" Ezra exclaimed.
Ezra was dragging me inside. His hand held tightly on my wrist.
"Before anyone asks, I want..." I'm not quite sure what Chelsea had said. My mind was in a different place.
Ezra was looking at the menu. His deep blue eyes scanning over it. His leg bouncing on the floor speedily.
