Sofia's Pov

I've been at the volturi Castle for about a month, and for every one of those days, Caius has taken me out on a day. It was funny to see how many dated he could plan that was different from the last, but he did it. Every single one of the dates was different but very romantic, and he didn't even take me somewhere public. He set up the dates by himself, which made the whole thing more romantic, and he made it our special thing to do together. We may have also completed the mate bond on our last date, which was a week ago. I feel like i'm finally free from everything, and that's thanks to Caius. He has made me feel so loved, safe, secure, and happy, and he has brought back my old self.

I'm waddling down the halls towards the throne room since i've had enough of waiting in the bedroom for Caius. I see so many guards walking around, and they bow their heads as i walk past as a sign of respect, making me blush. I swear i will never get used to the fact that i'm now one of the queens that rule over vampires. I don't know how to even be a queen, but Aro and Marcus say it will just come naturally to me when i walk into the throne room. I'm brought out of thought when some guards look at me worriedly due to the way i am walking, but i wave my hand dismissively at them. My legs and thighs are so sore after trying a lot of new things with Caius last night, which explains the waddling.

I finally make it to the throne room doors only to see Jane standing at the door with a small smile on her face, and she bows her head in a greating. She loops her arm with mine and opens the doors with her other arm, then she guides me inside, taking great care so i don't fall flat on my face. I see a vampire wearing torn clothes being restrained by Felix, and that vampire must have smelt my blood because he is looking right at me. In a blink of an eye, Caius is standing in front of the vampire, holding his chin tightly, causing cracks to appear on his face. Within seconds, Caius be heads the vampire snarling she is mine and the whole throne room is silently that silently i would have been able to hear a pin drop.

"Amore mio, how are you? Why are you not in our chambers? Is something wrong? Did someone hurt you? Are you in pain?." Caius said now standing in front of me

"Caius, take an unneeded breath. I am perfectly well, I'm not in our chambers because i got sick and tired of waiting for you in those four walls. Nothing is wrong, and no one hurt me. Yes, I'm in pain because my Caius wasn't with me because he was being the cruel, tortuous king." I said and pouted at the end, making him chuckle at me

"You can sit with me while your uncles bore you about your coronation." He said, scooping up into his arms and holding me bridle style

"My coronation?" I said, confused as Caius sits on his throne, sitting me on his lap

"SÌ, your coronation." Aro said softly

"Why would i need a coronation? I thought i was a quren already, or does it not work that way?" I asked, still very confused

"To announce your position as Queen." Marcus said with a smile

"Though we shall not be having an extravagant ball to announce your position. We shall be doing things a little differently for you. Caius here wants to do a portrait of you on your own, and then we will get someone to do a group portrait with all of us. We don't want to put you under any unnecessary stress, so a portrait will be your very own coronation." Aro said softly with a big smile on his face

"You paint!?" I asked Caius in shock

"Yes, i do amore mio. I will show you my studio once you have a nice relaxing bath, and maybe we can start on the portrait while we are in there." He said, smiling, then pecks my lips

"So there won't be loads of people? No rushing? No strangers? No stress?" I asked Caius, Marcus, and Aro

"Yes, sunshine. There will be no strangers, no rushing and no stress, and most definitely, there won't be loads of people." Marcus said, looking at me and Caius with an unknown look in his eyes

"It will just be us and the cullen family, your family. Nobody else just us, my dear." Aro said softly

"I like that better because a private event is more special and memorable." I said, blushing

"Right now, this conversation has ended. I will take Sofia back to our chambers. I will not be free for any trails, so proceed without me." Caius said, standing up, holding me bridle style

"As you wish." Aro said, nodding his head

"Bath time?" I asked with hope in my eyes

"Yes, little one, bath time." Caius said, smiling, and suddenly Caius is standing in the bathroom

"Good because i'm so sore, Cai." I said as my lip trembled

"This bath will help, and i'm so sorry for being too rough baby it will never happen again because i don't want to hurt you." He said, sitting me down onto my feet, helping me out my clothes

"NO! I mean no, don't stop being rough. I like that side of you. We just need safe words so we know each others limits." I said softly as he lowered me into the nice warm bath

"Safe words sound like a great idea, my love." He said softly, washing my hair

"We could do a traffic light system. Green means I'm okay to continue. Orange means I'm reaching my limits slow down. Red means i want you to stop." I said thoughtfully

"That would work perfectly. Now shush and relax, my love." He said kissing my neck
