Narrator: Whitefang has been manipulated and twisted to something more akin to a full blown army under the rule of Salem than the peaceful movement it started as. A full blown war is taking place with teams from the academies joining the front. Some students earned fearsome reputations and others faded into the background.

Blake didn't know what to feel as she was once a member and proud supporter of the whitefang but now she is to go to war against the people she once called her brothers and sisters

Team RW_Y knew that the war would be troublesome to say the least for Blake

On a cold winter day we see sun scarlet and Neptune in a foxhole while team rwby walks by saying
Yang: "been nice knowing ya."
Weiss: "wouldn't drink to much if I were you."
Ruby: "hey be careful if he offers you a cigarette."
Blake's head hangs low as she trudges along
Sun and Team RW_Y laughs as team rwby continue to walk away

This confused everyone

Yang: why did I say it like they are gonna die?

Pyrrha: is this person that they are referring to a professional huntsmen?

Ozpin: possibly, but what we know for certain is that they are strict.

Winter: obviously not Qrow

Qrow who is in the process of trying to light a cigarette while holding his flask looks up

Once they pass
Neptune: "what're they taking about, if who offers us cigarettes?"
Sun: "Arc."
Neptune: "who?"
Sun: "Jaune Arc."

'Jaune Arc was one of the team leaders of beacon. He was already a legend'
Glynda narrates

Jaune: ...what...

Ren: Jaune do you have cigarettes on you?

Jaune: ... No.

The hesitation left many in disbelief

Jaune intentionally paused because he thought it would be funny but instead earned him a slap from his sister

Ruby/Saphron: smokings bad.

Sun: "stories about Arc are probably all bullshit anyways."

Jaune: Hey!

Weiss: you don't even know what the stories are.

Neptune: "what stories?"
As sun doesn't answer Neptune turns to scarlet
Neptune: "what stories?"
Scarlet: "while supposedly Arc killed one of his teammates for being drunk."

PNR slowly moved away from Jaune with a mix of fear and shock

Winter: while I don't appreciate drunks I most certainly wouldn't kill my comrades for being under the influence .

Qrow: oz, respectfully I'm not working alongside him whatsoever.

Ironwood: scared of a kid?

Qrow: NO! Ok maybe a little.

This got some chuckles from the teams

Neptune: "you're kidding! That's unbelievable."
Sun: "yeah... there's another one about him giving out cigarettes to 20 whitefang prisoners..."

Velvet: smokings bad but if you're in a full blown war and that's the only thing you can offer it's a nice thing to do

Blake: atleast he's treating them with respect. If it was atlas I'd be surprised they took prisoners
