In the realm of choices, a decision was made,
To leave you behind, intentionally it played.
For reasons known, perhaps not shared,
A path diverged, a separation declared.
In the tapestry of life, threads may unravel,
Paths once entwined, now begin to travel,
With purpose and intent, we part ways,
A chapter closed, with memories in a haze.
It was not done lightly, this intentional choice,
To part from your presence, to silence your voice.
But sometimes, growth requires a different road,
To find ourselves, to lighten our load.
In this act of leaving, there's space to evolve,
To rediscover oneself, to resolve,
To seek new horizons, uncharted and vast,
Unburdened by echoes from the past.
It may bring sadness, a bittersweet ache,
As we navigate the void, the absence we take.
Yet amidst the pain, there's room to heal,
To find our own rhythm, to rediscover what's real.
For sometimes, in leaving, we discover our strength,
Embracing our own journey, going to any length,
To honor our truth, to nurture our soul,
Even if it means letting go of what once made us whole.
So I acknowledge the intention, the choice that was made,
To leave you behind, as our paths diverged and strayed.
May we find peace and growth in our separate quest,
And cherish the lessons learned, as we face life's test.
