Plot: Tasque Manager and Jevil decide to form an alliance to understand the mystery of  how and why Kris is both lawful and organized like Tasque and as chaotic as Jevil

Kris was a strange human indeed. The friends they made, their personality in general, it seemed strange how they were both lawful and organized yet chaotic too. Ralsei and Susie didn't seem to notice, but Jevil and Tasque Manager did.

After being recruited to the town, Tasque Manager took it upon herself to keep Raslei's castle organized and to assist with any of the affairs Ralsei couldn't keep up with himself. Kris would often help her, and they were exceptional at it. Yet whenever they were done, Kris would spend his time running around with none other than Jevil, the clown Tasque Manager hated.

Jevil loved hanging out with Kris and wreaking havoc across the town with them, much to most of the Darkners dismay. It was great to see Jevil in such high spirits, as usual, and Kris in a fantastic mood. But he did find it strange whenever Kris would change personalities completely whenever they were around Tasque Manager.

Now, Kris was currently baking with Ralsei. Jevil decided to show up to the castle to collect them so they could go torment some poor soul together with various pranks. As he walked in, he noticed Tasque Manager standing near the door leading up to where Kris was. He groaned in annoyance, grabbing her attention and causing her to turn around quickly.

Her eyes narrowed when she saw him, "Jevil."

"Tasque," he replied, "why are you spying on Kris? You're being even more creepy than me!" He laughed a slight bit.

Tasque rolled her eyes, "I'm not spying, I'm trying to figure something out."

"What is it?"

"Not that it's any of your business, but Kris has m very confused. I can't help but wonder how they are so much like both me and you."

Jevils eyes widened, "I've been wondering the same thing!" Both were quiet for a moment until Jevil got an idea. "Maybe we could work together to figure it out?"

"Are you proposing an alliance?"

"So what if I am? Are you in or not?"

Tasque thought for a moment, looking at Jevils outstretched hand before sighing and taking his hand in her own, "fine."

After that, the two of them followed Kris around for weeks whenever they were in town, and eventually they came up with an idea. Tasque would take a turn observing them and report to Jevil and vice versa.

Kris and Tasque sat together, sorting through a few papers while having a delightful conversation. Though Kris did notice how intently Tasque was watching them.

"Is everything okay, Tasque?" Kris signed, looking at her with questioning eyes.

"Of course, Kris, I'm just thinking."

Kris decided not to question things any further and go back to what they were doing, at least until Susie rushed in.

"KRIS! C'mon! Rouxls is having a crisis and it's so funny!" She yelled, causing Kris to get excited and jump out of their chair, quickly following her out of the room.

Tasque was amazed at how quickly they changed from calm to chaotic in the span of two seconds. She quickly pulled out her phone and called Jevil, who took a while to answer.

"Hello~ how's it going, Tasque?" Jevil answered, snickering a bit after a noise was heard in the background.

"I just witnessed Kris change from calm to chaotic in less than a minute, it was very strange. I could use some help trying to figure this out. What are you even doing?"

Jevil could be heard laughing once more, "just having some fun, hehe~"

Tasque sighed and pinched the bridge of her nose, "you're insufferable. Remind me to never speak to you after this whole ordeal is over."

"Will do!" Right as Tasque was about to hang up, she heard what sounded like Rouxls screaming and Susie and Jevil laughing.

She sighed and hung up, "Insufferable, all of them."

For the next week or so, Jevil and Tasque observed Kris intently, surprisingly going unnoticed by them until the very last time.

Tasque and Jevil hid behind a building, watching Kris talk to Susie and Ralsei. As Tasque watched intently, Jevil decided to hop on top of her shoulders to he could see.

She almost fell over and instead pushed him off of her, causing him to fall onto his back.

"Ow!" He said when he hit the ground, rather loudly. "What was that for?!"

"Don't jump on me. You could've gone around."

"Kris would've been able to see me!"

As the two of them argued, Kris, Ralsei, and Susie were alerted by their noise and waked over. Kris and Susie snickered a bit at the two of them, causing the two to stop fighting and turn around quickly.

"Kris, hi!" They said in unison, trying to hide their motives.

"Were you two spying on me?" Kris signed, trying not to laugh and instead be serious.

While Jevil tried to come up with some type of lie and excuse, Tasque instead sighed. "Yes. Were were just trying to figure out something about you."

"What about me?"

Jevil then chimed in, "you're pretty weird, Kris! Tasque and I were curious as to why you're so much like both of us, even hough we're opposites."

Kris chuckled, "so you were spying on me? You could've just ask me, you know?"

Both Tasque and Jevil looked at the ground in shame, but looked back up when Kris reassured them that they really didn't care, but to ask the next time they had a question. At last they were finally getting along.

Once they left with Raslei and Susie, Tasque and Jevil turned to each other.

"We weren't too bad of a team, huh?" Jevil asked, causing Tasque to smile and roll her eyes.

"I suppose not, but we never speak of this again."

Jevil chuckled and nodded, pretending to zip his lips shut before rushing off.

Tasque smiled as she watched him rush off, shaking her head before turning back to head to the castle. Sure they didn't figure out why Kris was the way they were, but then again, maybe it was for the best. Kris was Kris, and that's all they needed to know.
